Katniss POV-

"I guess Rye's gonna have a girlfriend." Peeta says as he comes into the bedroom and sits on the edge of the bed.

He's been up a lot lately. I don't like it any but my mom will be leaving tomorrow to go pack up her house. So that means he's gonna have to be the one to do everything until she gets back because Dr. Coles refused to let me do anymore than I have to because I'm getting so close-just about another month.

"What are you talking about?" I laugh a little, rolling my eyes.

"Mason just called me. They're all coming over tonight. He and Bristol are still friends and he's so excited about the baby." Peeta says.

I nod, "What does this have to do with Rye having a girlfriend?" I ask him, so confused.

He laughs, "Promise me you won't tell Bristol?"

"What did you do?"

"Bristol told Mason that the baby is a girl. I swore I wouldn't tell Bristol he told me so you better stay quiet and act surprised when she tells us."

"Peeta! I didn't want to know yet-why'd you tell me?" I groan.

"I thought you wanted to know?" He says.

"I do but not until Bristol told me herself! Why'd you tell me?" I scold him, rolling my eyes.

He scoffs, "You're excited, I can see it."

I laugh, "I'm very excited but why'd he tell you?"

"Because I guess it slipped-anyways Rye's gonna have him a girlfriend!" Peeta says excitedly kissing my belly.

I snort, not even being able to stay annoyed, "How come it's okay for him to have a girlfriend but Willow couldn't have a boyfriend when she was a baby?" I tease him.

"Because she's my little girl-she's never having a boyfriend." He sighs.

I chuckle, "What if Mason and Bristol get married? Rye and the baby would technically be cousins, it can't happen."

He makes a grossed out face, "Yeah, that's true. Sorry, Buddy." Peeta says to my belly and pats it.

I snort, "You're so weird."

"Wel, maybe he'll find a different girlfriend."

"If he looks like you he will have a lot of girls that like him but he's be even born yet so he has time." I giggle.

Peeta leans forward and presses a kiss to my lips, "You're right, if he looks like me he's gonna have the girls lined up. But-"

"That would be weird." I snort, already knowing what he was going to say.

He smirks, "I wasn't gonna say that. I was saying hopefully he looks like both of us because then he's gonna be one cute kid."

I smile, "Willow looks like both of us, mostly you but sometimes like me."

"Then Rye should have nothing to worry about."

"You know Willow is going to have to eventually get a boyfriend."

"Well, yes but not until she's like 30."

I laugh, "We were sixteen."

"Live and learn." He says sarcastically.

I playfully slap his arm and he laughs, "I'm kidding. Hey, I have about ten more years before that happens so maybe I'll be able to handle it by then."

"Hopefully."

Peeta squeezes my hand, "I'm gonna miss being stuck in bed next to you all day until your mom gets back."
