Katniss POV-

Peeta laughs, "Yes." He says and I sit down next to him on the couch.

Carter jumps up and runs over to me,
"Aunt Kat!! You're belly is so so big and so cute!" She says, hugging me.

I pat her head, "Thank you." I chuckle.

"I missed you so much, pretty girl." I say kissing her cheek.

"I missed you too." She says.

I pull her up into my lap and she lays her head on my shoulder.

Bristol looks at me, "You look great, Katniss." She says.

"Thank you." I smile a little.

"You really do." She repeats.

I smile a little wider, "Thank you."

"She's such a cute pregnant woman, isn't she?" Peeta says, my mother nods in agreement and so does Bristol.

I glance at Peeta and he smirks at me, "It's true." He laughs.

I snort, "Why'd you laugh after you said it then?"

"Because you're just funny." He says.

I roll my eyes, "Whatever."

"You are cute, Momma. We aren't lying." Willow butts in and they all agree.

I laugh, "Thank you guys. Anyways..."

"What?" Peeta laughs.

I shrug my shoulders and look to Bristol, "So, how's everything going for you?" I ask her curiously.

"It's been fine since you-know-who left..." She shrugs.

"You seem happier." I say, trying to agree with her but also not upset her. But so far she's seems to be taking this all really really well. Better than Peeta and I have.

"Well, now I have more time with my kids and to myself. Best thing he could've ever done for us was leave." Bristol says.

"I'm glad you're being so positive."

She shrugs, "It wasn't going to last forever and I'm just glad I never have to see him again if I don't have to."

"I don't blame you."

"And I am seriously taking a break from dating or whatever. I'm tired of being with the wrong person."

"Oh what about-" I start.

"I've discussed it with him and he's totally supportive about me waiting a few years. We are only friends for now but he still wants to be around us and help out." She explains.

I look at Peeta and he smiles a little.

"Wow. That's amazing." I say.

She nods, "Thanks to y'all."

"Well, I haven't met him but if he's anything like Peeta is then I am sure he's great." My mother tells Bristol.

"Who, Mason?" Willow asks.

Bristol nods.

"Is him your boyfriend?"

She shakes her head, "No, he's just my friend."

"Do you know Mason?" Willow asks Carter.

She nods, "He acts like your Daddy, Willow and looks like him and he makes me happy like Uncle Peeta." Carter says and my heart melts.

I look at Peeta and he smiles proudly.

"Well, if it's meant to be between you two then it's meant to be." My mother tells Bristol.
