Katniss POV-

"Mommy? Why are you crying?" I hear Willow ask.

I look up, "I'm not." I say, wiping my tears off on my sleeve.

Peeta sighs.

"Yes, you are." She argues.

"I'm sorry, I just-I needed a minute." I say, trying to hide my face, remembering the promise I made to her this morning about being happier and not fighting with Peeta and I'm doing exactly that.

"Why did you say that you want to die?" Willow says.

"I didn't say that." I say, hoping Peeta will butt in and save me but he doesn't.

"You're lying to me again." She frowns and begins to cry.

"I'm sorry, Willow. I just need a little while before I can be better, okay?"

"You can't leave me."

"I'm not, I'm just sad right now. I'm not leaving you."

"How come you told Daddy about our talk? I thought you wouldn't tell him?" She says, sobbing into her hands.

"I didn't mean to." I say truthfully but she doesn't buy it.

"You pinky promised me too." She yells into her hands.

"Willow, please don't start this?" I say and stand up to walk closer to her but she backs away.

I can tell by her eyes she's still not feeling well at all so that's going to make her more emotional than a normal six year old would be.

"How come you keep breaking our promises?" Willow asks me.

I sniffle, "I'm not trying to." I say truthfully.

She looks up at me, a sudden anger in her eyes, "You promised me you wouldn't tell him and you did."

"I'm sorry and I didn't tell him everything." I say truthfully.

"But still. You promised me a lot of stuff, and how come you keep lying to me?" Willow cries.

I shake my head, "I'm not trying to break my promises but it's really hard right now to keep them."

"Then why do you keep making them then?" She asks me, sounding suddenly very angry.

That's a good question

I shrug my shoulders and look to Peeta for help but he's not even watching, he's just staring at his hands.

"I don't know." I mumble.

"You guys always lie to me."

"We don't lie to you but sometimes things happen that we can't help and I can't control my crying right now." I say, tears streaming down my cheeks.

I swear being pregnant makes everything 10x more emotional for me.

She gives me a dirty look.

"I'm serious, Willow. If you knew what was going on then you'd be a little nicer to me." I sniffle.

"Ugh! You make me so so mad!" Willow suddenly screams at me.

My eyes widen and I stop crying, looking at her.

"You are a liar!!" She yells loudly.

"I'm not lying but I'm sorry if I can't keep every promise I make to you-especially right now." I say back.

"I hate you! And I hate Daddy and everyone!" She screams.

I look over at Peeta and he's glaring at the wooden floor, he's about to explode.
