Katniss POV-

"Katniss?"

"Prim!" I scream, running towards her but she goes right through me.

And I lose it.

"Prim, what just happened?" I cry, looking into her blue eyes.

She gives me a look and shakes her head, "I'm dead remember? And you're messing everything up."

"What are you talking about?" I ask her, confused.

She points and that's when I see a vivid little cloud and inside is a Peeta and he's crying hysterically, laying next to Rye in our bedroom.

My heart sinks.

Why is he so upset?

"You're breaking his heart, can't you see?" Prim says, obviously annoyed with me.

"What did I do? Why is he crying?" I ask her, my heart aching as I watch him.

He's a mess.

She sits down, "Katniss, ever since your accident he's been trying so hard to help you and I thought you'd pull through but you ruined it tonight."

"What accident?" I ask her.

"You don't remember?" She asks me.

I shake my head, "No, but what did I tell him?"

"You were in a car accident and lost all of your memories. Peeta tried helping you the first day or so but you blew up on him and he left. You told him you wanted nothing to do with him or the kids so he left. He really did think you would call but you didn't. For some odd reason you remembered Mr. Abernathy and Miss Trinket and went to the Capital to be with them. You were miserable and guilty but Peeta found you a few days ago and you agreed to go back with him. He's been trying so hard to help you get your memories back but nothing is helping."

"Wait, why would I go find Effie and Haymitch?" I ask her.

"Because for some reason they're the only people you remembered. Anyways that's beside the point, Peeta wants to die."

"Why? What did I say that was bad enough to make him want that?" I ask her worriedly.

"It's your attitude and the situation and what you just said hurt him bad. He's been doing every single thing that he can to help you and you've been trying but giving up so easily. That's not like you." She says disappointedly.

I sigh, "I'm not trying but I don't even know what's going on. It's like I've been stuck here for a long time. Am I dead?"

"No, Katniss." Prim says, rolling her eyes at me.

"Well if you would explain things to me. You're acting like I remember but I don't even know what's going on." I tell her frustratedly.

"I don't have much time so listen to me, please?" She sighs.

"Okay, I'm listening. What do I do?"

"I don't know but you need to apologize to him the second you wake up. He's blaming himself."

I give her a look, "For what happened to me?"

"Yes. That's why he wants to die. Everything is getting to be too much for him and you won't help him. You think you don't know how to be a mom or a wife just because you don't remember. Tonight you broke his heart, Katniss and he's trying to act like it didn't hurt him what you said but it did. It's 5am and you went to bed at 10 and look at him." Prim says angrily.

I look back to Peeta and I feel so bad for him, it's making me want to cry too.

What did I say to him?
