Katniss POV- (The next day)

"Good morning." Peeta mumbles into my ear.

I smile and turn my head to face him, "How'd you know I was awake?"

He chuckles, "I just knew."

I smile, "You're good." I yawn.

He laughs, "Ready for a better day?"

I nod my head, "Very ready. I just wish we could do stuff with Willow."

"I do too but at least she was feeling better last night."

"Yeah, I felt bad she had to get a shot but it's better than her still being sick."

Peeta smiles, "Yep. It was cute, she assured me she didn't cry and she had just gotten through wiping away some of her tears."

I laugh, "Only our child."

"She acts just like you." He chuckles.

I snort, "Oh hush."

"I wasn't complaining."

I sigh, "I love you."

He sits up, "I love you too." Peeta says putting his hand on my belly.

I smile a little.

"Don't take this the wrong way but you're getting huge."

I snort, "I know."

"You still look good but it's like he's growing a few pounds a day."

"He probably is. I know I am." I roll my eyes.

I've been eating like a horse lately.

"I promise you still look perfect."

I laugh, "Thanks."

"Have you still been having contractions?"

"Yeah, little ones. They're really really far apart and not so powerful. Maybe they'll just stop."

"Hopefully but you let me know when it's the real thing."

"Trust me, I will." I assure him.

Peeta smiles a little, "Is he awake?"

"I think so. I felt him moving around just a few minutes ago."

"If he isn't already awake he will be in a few seconds." He laughs.

I smile tiredly.

Peeta pats my firm belly, "Good morning, Buddy." He says softly.

I feel Rye move towards Peeta's voice.

"Hey, Rye. It's Daddy." He says in a baby voice.

Rye starts kicking excitedly and Peeta smiles widely when he sees it.

"You're getting to be a big boy in there. You'll be out of room soon." He laughs quietly.

I close my eyes, enjoying this little moment.

"You be nice to Momma, okay?" He tells him.

I laugh a little.

"Just a little longer and we will get to meet you."

"You're gonna make us so happy, Buddy. You already do but you'll never know how happy you'll make us soon." Peeta explains.

He takes my hand and puts it on my stomach, putting his hand right over mine.

I open my eyes, "You know I can feel every move he makes, you feel." I laugh a little.

Peeta smiles, nodding his head, "I know but I wanted you to feel it out here, it feels amazing."
