Katniss POV- (The next morning)

I wake up earlier than usual feeling excited for today and absolutely starving from not having dinner last night.

I go to the bathroom and then head down stairs for some food.

I would wake Willow but she definitely deserves some extra sleep after the few weeks she's had.

I really hope today is better for her.

When I get down stairs I hear soft, familiar snores coming from the couch and I'm spooked.

Quietly I walk over and see two people-one asleep on each couch.

I'm kind of scared at first because I know for a fact these two were not here last night and they're faces are covered by blankets they took from the closet.

My heart races as I see under one blanket is some all too familiar blonde hair.

I gasp a little as I realize it has to be Peeta-the snores are definitely his.

And the one on the opposite couch has to be Mason.

I immediately rush around and kneel down, removing the blanket from his face.

My heart beats faster and I feel like I'm going to scream I'm so happy.

"Peeta." I whisper loudly, beginning to cry.

I grab his whiskery face and lean my forehead against his chest.

He's home.

I hear him gasps a little and jump, startled as he opens his blue eyes.

"Katniss." He whispers, smiling widely.

He pulls my head back down to his chest and kisses my forehead, I can feel his smile.

I start crying harder, I'm trying to be quiet so that we don't wake the whole house up but I can't help it.

Peeta sits up and helps me to my feet. He manages to stand up without a problem and pulls me into a hug.

"I missed you so much." I whisper quietly into his chest.

He rubs my back gently and kisses my forehead, "I missed you too." He whispers back, crying.

Peeta's warm hands move up to my cheeks and he softly pulls my lips to his.

I can feel his smile against mine and I haven't felt this happy in awhile.

He's finally home.

I can't help but to laugh a little with giddy and he takes my hand.

We walk through the house and to the backyard, the sun is just starting to rise.

He walks with a limp but walks better than I thought he would.

When we make it to the back porch I can't help myself, I nearly jump into his embrace.

"I missed you so much." I cry hysterically.

He smiles sadly and squeezes me gently, "I missed you too, Katniss." Peeta says.

We hold each other tighter than we have in along time and just stand there and cry.

It's not sad tears but tears of joy.

Tears you cry when you finally get to see someone after it seems like forever.

"Can you feel it?" I ask him, looking up.

He looks down, "Feel what?"

"Can you feel Rye? He's kicking." I tell him and look down at my belly.
