Katniss POV-

"We seriously need to do something fun." Peeta says as he swiftly cleans the house from before we left.

"Like what? I don't know what we could do." I say truthfully.

"Why don't we make something or watch a movie or read or sleep or paint or go shoot your bow or do something?" He says.

I sigh, "Fine. Pick."

"Let's go shoot your arrows into the tree in the back yard. We can sit on the porch and do it from there." Peeta says.

I shrug my shoulders, "Fine. Let's go." I say getting up off the couch.

We go to the garage and get my bow and arrows out and go into the back yard.

Together, we sit side by side on the porch as I start to shoot the arrows, one by one.

Afterwards I sit on Peeta's lap, helping him shoot his arrows into the tree after his first few failed attempts.

"I think this was just an excuse for me to be all over you." I mumble into his ear as I aim his arrow and he let's go, sending it into the bark of the tree.

Peeta chuckles, "It wasn't but I am not complaining."

I smile a little bit, shaking my head.

"What?" He laughs.

"Nothing, you're just funny."

Peeta snorts, "I'm not trying to be funny but I can't aim for anything."

"Not today but you're still good."

"What do you mean?" He asks me softly.

I shake my head, "Nothing."

"No, tell me."

"I just mean that even though you're acting like you can't shoot on purpose, just so I'll be right here with you is cute but I'm not an idiot."

Peeta smirks at me, "Maybe I wanted you this close to me so I could kiss you."

"Well, you haven't tried to kiss me yet but-" He stops my words with his lips.

We share a short little kiss, resting our foreheads together as we finish.

"Never mind then." I chuckle.

He laughs, "I'm sorry."

"It's okay. You know that."

"I know." He whispers.

I wrap my arms around his neck and he lowers the bow.

"I love you." I tell him quietly, giving him a big hug.

"I love you too." He says, rubbing the small of my back and kissing my neck.

I pull away from him and return to my seat next to him on the porch.

"Shoot that stupid arrow the way I know that you can." I tell him.

Peeta chuckles, "Fine." He says and shoots the stupid arrow right into the tree as if he'd been doing this forever.

"That's my boy." I say, giving him a high five.

"Now amaze me, beautiful archer." He says, scooting over and handing me the bow and quiver of arrows.

I start, getting the remaining five arrows into the tree within a few seconds.

"Damn, babe. You're on fire." He says.

I roll my eyes.

"I'm gonna start calling you my 'Girl on 'Fire' okay?"

I laugh, "Okay, Peeta but you're on fire too."
