Katniss POV-

"Katniss? Baby, what's wrong?" Peeta asks me, startling me.

I gasp and flip onto my back, quickly covering my face, hoping to play it off as nothing.

I am not in the mood to talk to him, let alone fight with him.

"Nothing." I say, trying to sound fine but I've been crying since he left the room.

He sits on the bed and tries to pull my arms down off my face but I don't budge, "Why are you crying?" He asks me knowingly.

"I am not crying." I say.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I was not crying, Peeta. I'm not a baby." I say, stubbornly, not wanting to admit it.

"Even adults cry, Katniss. And I know you were crying." He says.

"I was not, now I really do not want to talk to you right now so will you please just go?" I say, my voice croaking.

He pauses for a second, "Katniss, what happened? Something happened or you wouldn't be so upset."

"I'm not upset."

"Why are you so mad at me then? Did I do something wrong?" Peeta asks me.

"Just please leave me alone." I say, becoming annoyed with his presence.

He scoffs, "Obviously you're mad so just tell me what I did wrong and I'll try and fix it."

I take a deep breath and I hold it for a few seconds before I go off on him.

"Fine." I say.

He sighs.

"I gave birth to our baby five days ago and you promised to take care of Rye at night and you did the first two nights and I've done it since."

"He hasn't been waking up, has he?" Peeta asks me cluelessly.

I scoff and uncover my face, "Are you deaf? He's been waking up like three times in the night to eat and every time I try to get you to wake up, you ignore me." I say.

"I'm not ignoring you, I'm asleep. And I really haven't heard him or I would be getting up." Peeta says.

"How come you wake up every time I have a nightmare but you don't wake up when you hear our baby screaming because he's hungry?" I ask him, so annoyed.

"I'm use to waking up to help you with nightmares but I'm not use to waking up with a baby."

"Well, you better get use to it because you promised me the first two weeks you'd be up with him. And it should be equal but I'm exhausted right now and you promised. I understand that you're tired too but you're not waking up 3 or 4 times a night and you're not hovering over him all night to make sure he's still breathing." I say angrily, sitting up.

"But I stay up all day with him while you sleep."

"He sleeps all day is what you told me so what's the big deal. And you still promised me that you'd do everything you could the few couple of weeks."

"Okay. I'm really sorry that I haven't been getting up with him but I really will try to start." Peeta says.

"It's not just that, Peeta. I'm sorry but I'm just so tired and I didn't want to say anything to you but I'm so annoyed." I groan frustratedly.

He sighs, "Why am I annoying you?"

I shrug my shoulders, "I don't know you just do."

"I'm sorry." He says sarcastically.
