Peeta POV- (That night)
"Goodnight, Sweetheart. I love you so much." I say softly to Willow, kissing her on the nose.
"Goodnight, Daddy. I love you so so much too."
I stand up and Katniss gives her a kiss too, "You have sweet dreams tonight, okay baby girl?"
                              "You too." She giggles.
"I'll try but you know how it goes with Rye." She says with a wink.
Willow laughs and Katniss stands up, "Goodnight, baby girl." She says and I turn out the lights.
Katniss and I go back downstairs to Skyler and Rye and Skyler is asleep on the couch.
"Are you ready for bed?" I ask Katniss.
She nods her head, "I'm taking Rye to our room."
I scoops Skyler up and start up the stairs with her and Katniss and Rye follow.
                              Katniss POV-
I lay Rye in his little bed next to me and I change his diaper and put him into some cute footy pajamas.
He stirs a little but goes right back to sleep thankfully so I go to the restroom and change into my own pajamas, remembering that we have a guest.
I get into the cold bed and wait on Peeta who comes back about ten minutes later.
"Hey, you didn't have to wait on me." He says, quietly shutting the bedroom door.
"I just laid down, it's okay." I say.
Peeta sighs and starts to change into his pajamas too.
"That took quite a long time." I mention.
                              "She woke up."
                              "Did you two talk?"
He nods, "She asked me if we tucked Willow into bed every night or if it was just something parents do on tv."
                              "And what did you say?"
"I told her the truth. We really do tuck Willow into bed every night."
                              "Well, yeah."
"I told her we could do the same for her if she wanted us to."
"Did she let you tuck her in?"
He nods, "She did. Then afterwards she apologized."
"She apologizes too much." I say truthfully.
All day today she's been apologizing for everything, no matter if it required one or not.
Skyler dropped her fork on the ground during dinner and nearly bursted into tears.
"She told me that being tucked in seemed too childish and weird for her so I told her that we didn't have to do it if she didn't want us to but if she did, that we would happily do it."
                              I nod my head.
"I use to do the same thing when I was her age until I realized not everything is my fault and not everything needs an apology." Peeta tells me.
I frown, "I think it was a really good idea for us to fix up her room a little bit. She was so excited about it all and I don't even think she noticed the books or her new clothes yet."
"I'm glad we decided to do it too. She deserves it. She's a really special little girl." Peeta says.
"I'm glad she's here and I know I was freaking out about it all but I think it was a good decision."
