Katniss POV- (A few hours later)
"Hey, Princess? Can Mommy and I talk to you?" Peeta asks Willow, immediately after she finishes her homework.
Willow freezes, "What did I do now?"
I snort and Peeta laughs, "Nothing that we know of. Did you do anything?"
She shakes her head, 'no.'
"We just want to talk." He laughs a little.
"Okay." Willow says and gets up, coming over to Peeta and I, sitting in between us.
"What?" She giggles, looking at Peeta and I.
"You know how everything has been super crazy lately? And how we haven't gotten to spend that much time with you lately or done things as a family?" Peeta starts.
Willow nods.
"Momma and I are so proud of you for how well you've been doing and we really appreciate it, okay?" He says patting her back.
"Thanks." Willow says awkwardly.
"You know how Daddy's leg is hurt and how he fell this morning? And how I wasn't feeling good yesterday?" I start.
Willow nods her head.
"Well, I am still not feeling good and we went to the doctor today for the baby and for Daddy and they said we both have to be on bed rest at least until your brother is born."
"What's that mean?"
I sigh, "That means we can't really get out of bed unless we need to go to the bathroom or move to a new room."
"Both of you gots to be on it?"
Peeta sighs, "Yeah, Sweetheart. I'm really sorry. If I would take better care of myself I wouldn't have to be bed rest too but I've just been trying to do things like normal." He shrugs.
"It's okay, Daddy. I told you that you shouldn't be doing so much stuff cause then you hurt your leg." Willow scolds him.
"I know, baby and I should've listened to you and Mommy and I'm really sorry that I didn't." He frowns.
I know deep down Peeta feels horrible about this all anyways, plus everything that happened today and getting himself put on bed rest.
"How come Mommy has to stay in bed?" She asks him.
"Because when you were still in Mommy's tummy you tried coming out way too early. Dr. Coles is afraid that Rye is wanting out already so that's why she's making Momma stay in bed because it will make him stay in longer."
"But don't we want him out already?" She asks us, confused.
"We do but we don't want him until he's ready so that he can be healthy. It's like when we bake bread. You can't take it out until it's fully baked or it'll won't be good for the bread."
"Oh, so Rye is like a bread in Momma's tummy and a bread like his name?" Willow asks us.
Peeta and I laugh, "I guess so." I snort.
"Anyways, if Rye is born too early that means he won't get to come home with us for awhile and we want him home with us as soon as possible, right?" Peeta says.
"Of course." Willow says like it's the most obvious thing in the world.
"And I am still hurting a lot from my leg. I shouldn't have been on it as much as I have been so I'm gonna have to take a break for awhile."
Willow frowns, "Does that mean you and Mommy are going away?"
"No, baby girl. We are just gonna be upstairs and I promise when you get home from school we will move down here to be with you, okay?"
"Who's going to make us dinner or give me a bath or wake me up?"
"That's also what we were going to talk about." Peeta sighs.
"Mason wanted to come down here to help us and take care of you but he couldn't because of his job but he said that he misses you and he will definitely come see us soon." He says.
Willow smiles a little.
"And we were thinking about calling my mom to come stay with us to take care of us until Rye comes." I say.
Willow gasps, "Really?"
"Would you like that?"
"Yes!! Her is so nice, remember when she came to my birthday?"
I smile happily, "I do remember that."
"We will see what we can get done, okay?"
"Okay." She says.
I sigh, "Now, Daddy and I are both going to break the rules until someone comes to help us but you can't tell no one." I wink.
Willow giggles a little, "Them doctors are gonna be mad at you."
"Well, we have to still take care of you."
"Momma?" She says looking up at me.
"What, baby?" I ask her.
"When I get out of school will we do fun stuff?"
I sigh, "I hope we get to. We will really really try, I promise."
"We will have a really good summer, Willow." Peeta assures her.
"Okay, good because I want to do fun things with you and Momma and my brother and Grandma and my great grandparents and Mason and Bristle and Carter and Carson and Finn and Finnick and Johanna and Annie and everyone." Willow names off in one breath.
We laugh, "We will try." I say truthfully.
I look at Peeta and he gives me a shrug.
"Okay and Momma remember you said we would go swimming?"
"I do remember, Willow. I promise we will go a few times if we can."
"Really?"
"Yep. And Daddy and I both should be feeling better soon so we will try to get things back to normal."
"Yay, I am esited."
"We are too. You just have to be patient with us the next few months."
"I will be, I promise." She nods.
"We love you, Willow Mellark," Peeta says kissing her cheek, she hugs him and then hugs me.
"I love you too." She says leaning up and kissing me and then Peeta.
I look at Peeta and he smiles sadly at Willow and then looks up at me.
I swallow, "I love you, Peeta."
He leans forward, pressing his lips gently to mine.
"I love you too, Katniss." He whispers back to me.
Willow smiles proudly at us, "I'm glad you love each other again. It makes me happy."
"We haven't stopped." Peeta assures her.
"Really?"
"I know lately we've been kind of mad at each other but that doesn't mean we stop loving each other. A lot of times the person you care most about is the one you argue with the most."
"Oh." She sighs.
"What?" I ask her.
"I argue with Finn all the time." She says blushing.
I smirk, holding back a laugh.
Peeta looks at me and back at Willow and let's out a defeated sigh.
