Katniss POV- (A few hours later)

"Oh my gosh, Peeta." I say excitedly, almost in tears as I first glance around the nursery.

It looks absolutely amazing and so different from the original white walls and open space.

"You really like it?" He asks, leaning against the doorway on his cane.

"It is perfect." I say truthfully.

I couldn't imagine anything better.

I walk over and hug him, he pecks my lips, wrapping his arms around me and kisses my neck.

"My brother is gonna love it." Willow says as she looks around the room at everything.

There's an entire wall that's covered in wood pallets. He's stained Willow's old crib a dark brown and even made the bed with gray sheets with arrows on it. He's bought new furniture as well, and painted light gray animals on the wall like deer and he painted a few trees too. And there is a forest green dresser on the opposite wall, along with a little bouncer and other toys.

"The closet is full of diapers and toys and the dresser is full of all his clothes." Peeta says proudly.

"I love it so so much, Peeta. Thank you so much." I say truthfully, beyond proud of him for the job he did.

"I think it looks good, especially being that I'm no professional." He brags.

"You should be a house contractor like Mason."

"Why do you think I asked him to help me?"

I laugh.

"I wanted to add more green but I thought the green shelf would be the perfect touch." He says.

I kiss his cheek, "I think so too." I say truthfully.

He smiles.

"I think it looks perfect."

"Thank you. Sorry it took so long to complete but it's ready for him to move in any time now." He says rubbing my belly a little.

"Well, it's gonna have to wait a few more months." I say patting his hand.

"That's okay." Peeta chuckles.

I hug him again and Willow comes over to us, "It looks so prettiful in here, Daddy." She tells Peeta.

"Better than your room?" He asks.

She shakes her head, "No."

I swear that room is her most prized possession besides her lamb-she is in love with it thankfully.

"Good." Peeta says patting her head.

"Baby Rye is gonna be in love with his room like I am in love with mine." Willow assures us.

"Thank you, baby girl." He holding his hands down to her, she takes them and he pulls her up.

She leans forward and kisses him then freezes.

"Daddy..." Willow says slowly, looking at him.

He looks at her, confused.

"Yeah?"

"You forgotted to shave your scratchies." She scolds him.

Peeta's eyes grow wide and I burst out laughing and he sets Willow back down.

"It's technically not morning anymore but come here, baby." Peeta says to me, holding his hands out to me, I take  them and he pulls me to him-belly to belly.
