Chapter Twenty Three: As the days go by

20 days until Harvest Dance

Your POV

"Hey Sookie and Soul are going out of town for the weekend, do you girls wanna stop by my house for a sleepover?" Yuki asked us.

It was only the girls at the table today. Sam and Taurtis still haven't showed up and Grian was sick today. Poor J is all by himself.
(J is so funny but he's always alone I feel so bad for him, anyone agree?)

"I'll have to ask my mom," I replied.

"Sure I think I'm free," Chan was the next to speak.
We all turned to Freya, Lil~Chan, and Kate~Chan.

"I got uh, family plans all weekend." Freya told us.

"Same here." Lil~Chan was the next to speak. We all turned to Kate~Chan.

"I would love to but my parents want to take me camping." Kate~Chan told us with a sad look on her face. We all sighed and turned back to Yuki.

"I don't want to plan in front of you guys so Y/N and Chan, I'll text you the details." Yuki told us.

October 12th, Thursday
End of the school day 3:30
20 days until Halloween
19 days until the harvest dance

"Hey Y/N!" I heard Grian's voice call my name. I shut my locker and smiled at him.

"Hey Grian, what's up?" I greeted him.

"I just wanted to see if you wanted me to walk you home," He replied with a sweet smile on his face.

"Sure,"

We walked out of the school and he walked with me.
We had a few different conversations, with Grian being a bit quiet.
When we stopped in front of my house I turned and faced Grian.

"Thanks for walking me home."

"No problem,"

I gave him a quick hug and my hand slightly touched the doorknob before Grian spoke again.

"Hey Y/N, I wanted to ask you something."
He was scratching the back of his neck with his right hand and looked at me with nervous eyes.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I don't want this to sound cheesy or be at a bad moment," He replied, still nervous with his eyes not meeting mine.

"What is it?" I asked again, getting a little impatient.

"Do you want to be my, girlfriend?"

I stared at him in shock for about a minute or two.

"Do you mind if I talk to Yuki and Chan about this at the sleepover tomorrow so I can get some help on what to do?" I asked, me being the nervous one this time. Grian looked more scared than nervous now.

"Take as much time as you need to think about this, Y/N." He told me not seeming upset, scared, or nervous at all.

"I don't want to pressure you," He added.
I nodded and walked inside my house.

This chapter had two days in it because it's hard trying to think of a new idea for every chapter
And I really wanted to get to the sleepover because I have so many ideas...
Okay second important part
I'm having trouble deciding
I want to do a Samgladiator x Reader and a Taurtis x Reader when this Grian x Reader is finished
So in the Samgladiator x Reader it would start like at the moment when Sam is proposing to Sookie
You would have lived there all that time but were homeschooled and were finally getting the chance of going to a public school
(Actually it's kind of a private school with the uniforms and stuff xd)
The Taurtis x Reader would either take place in the new Yandere like preschool
Then maybe I make a second story where you meet again in Tokyo Soul?
And I have the idea for a Kingdom of Valor Fanfiction with a Sam x Taurtis x Grian x Reader
So tell me what you would like cause I can't decide...

When I started this story I thought "I mean I'll feel happy if I get atleast 100 between 1k reads"
Cause this story was going to be you being some type of monster and Grian finds out what you are
