Maybe a summer can change everything.

Luke

After getting Mexican in our systems.

"I want to know what those Mexicans were saying behind me." Hazel says turning around to look back at the door.

"Come on, you know what they we're saying. That they thought you were fine." I says grabbing her waist and turning her around to face me.

"Well, Mr. Morris. Could we not wait till we got in the car?" Hazel says as I am kissing her neck.

"Miss Cox. What do you want to do now?" I ask putting my arm around her.

"What do you want to do?" She also as we get to the Jeep. As she starts giggling and smiling.

"What are you laughing about sweat heart. Something funny?" I ask opening up the door and picking her up and sitting her in her sit.

"Luke, I cannot believe this is happening." I say just pulling her into a hug this time.

"But Luke." She says burying her head into my shoulder.

"Baby don't but." I say pulling her face to mine.

"Get you some fat ass." Someone yells from the distance.

"You better run asshole, I am going to kick your ass." I say while I am running for the asshole who just yelled that.

"Lucas, please come back, he's just some dick." Hazel is yelling from behind me, I can hear the pain in her voice. I can't take it, shit. She is my weakness. Damn it she always been. Even in elementary school, this one time I was about to fight this kid Austin. Do you know what she did, while everyone was yelling fight, Hazel walks up and grabs my hand which was a big thing in the 4th and just walked away with me tow.

The warmth of Hazel's hand brings me back to reality. I have the kid by the neck of his shirt.

"Lucas, please just walk away, from him .... Please." Hazel says sticking her hand in my back pocket.

"Lucas, please." She pleads yet again.

"Yeah man, listen to your girl."
The boys says as I release his neck.
