Hazel

After I get off the phone I head on up to take a shower. When I get out I see that I have about 15 minutes before they get here. While I am standing in front of the mirror trying to decide what to wear, I hear York come in and head to the bathroom.

"York what in the hell are you doing stomping around? You scared the shit out of me." I yell to him.

"Haz please come here." He says quietly from the hall way.

"York I just got out of the shower." I tell him opening the door a little to look at him. He had been crying, even though I know he won't tell me that.

"What's wrong? Get in here." I ask him opening the door wider, he just comes in and grabs me and wraps me in a hug.

"Good god you smell really good. I love your smell." He whispers to me.

"What's wrong York?" I ask again.

"I needed to see you ... Like now." He whispers to me again tightening his grip on me.

"York what's wrong with you?" I ask him as he loosens up a little.

"Hazel baby girl please don't ask any questions." He stills at the door.

"Okay. I was going to go out for pizza with Luke and his little sister. Do you want to come with?" I ask brushing my hair, Luke probably wouldn't like that but I had to ask.

"No I am okay. Where is Drake?" He ask right before he goes to close the door.

"I don't know, why?" I ask raising my eyebrows.

"Just asking." He says giving me a kiss on the cheek.

After I close the door and grab my jeans and  grab a random t-shirt from the closet with my white chucks. Then I head down stairs to wait for them.

"Oh, HAZEL!" Beth yells as she is getting out of the Jeep so he can put her car sit in the back.

"Well hello, Miss Beth. How are you sweetheart?" I ask picking he up and sitting her on the hood.

"Real good. I got him to get us, ice cream. Chocolate and Rocky Road." She whispers to me.

"My favorite." I tell her as Luke tells her to hop off the hood and get in the back.

"Hey." I tell him as he walks back to the front.

"And hi to you too." He tells me pulling me in for a hug.

"Wow." I mumble into his shoulder.

"Believe it or not she is asleep, as we speak." He tells me kissing the top of my head.

"Wait where is your mom?" I ask him as he sits me on the hood.

"Don't tell Beth but my Aunt came and got her ... So Beth does not have to deal with it when dad comes and gets his shit tomorrow." He tells me leaning in so we are forehead to forehead.

"Maybe that is a good thing." I pause for a second, "And what about you?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
