I had to see her after what my dad said earlier. I thought about it, I do not care what people think about Hazel or her parents.
"Oh my god, Luke you scared me to death." Haz says opening the door.
"Sorry I just had to see you again." I tell her taking in what she has in, it's plaid shirts and a purple t-shirt and I am a hundred percent sure she doesn't have a bra on.
"Okay, you want to sit out here?" She ask walking out and into the back yard
and sitting down on the swing.
"Yeah this is fine." I tell her pulling her up and into my arms.
"What's up?" she asks looking at me through her eye lashes. Damn I love those eyes.
"You smell really good." I tell her with my head buried in her neck, I continue, "Nothing I just wanted to see you." I tell her pulling back from her.
"Thank you." She tells me as I pull her back into a hug.
"Get a room." Her brother yells from the back door.
"Get in the house Drake." Hazel hollers back at him.
"I would but you got a phone call." He tells her holding up the home phone.
"Coming." She tells him and turning back to look at me, "You coming in?" She ask.
"I would love too." I tell her following her in house.
"Drake, come talk to Luke." She yells as we walk in and she picks up the phone and goes to the other room.
"Do you really love her?" Drake ask walking in and sitting on the arm of the couch.
"What!?" I ask nearly chocking and sitting down at the kitchen table.
"I know you heard me, do you love her?" He ask standing up.
"I always have." I tell him standing up too.
"She is not the same kinda person you are." He tells me getting right up in my face.
"What do you mean?" I ask hoping he doesn't say the same thing my dad did.
"You just as well as I know what people say about her and mom and her dad. Why are you putting yourself in this position?" He ask shaking his head a little.
"Like I said I have loved her from the first day I seen her." I tell him stepping back.
"Okay well if you hurt her, she'll hurt you." He says with a chuckle and walks out of the room.
"Hey." Hazel says walking into the room, she has pulled up her slightly damp hair.
"Howdy." I tell her with a wink.
"You are crazy." She tells me turning on a lamp in the living room.
"So what time do you have to be at work tomorrow?" I ask as she is sitting down.
"That was my uncle he said my shift starts at 7." She says grinning at me.
"So I'll be here at 6:30." I tell her with a wink.
"Nope, that thing that has wheels out in my driveway is gonna get my there." She says grinning at me.
"Oh really?" I ask pulling her in for a kiss, I kiss her gently hoping it last forever.
