Just watching Hazel from my sit at the table is enough for me. As York is explaining what was really happened between her mom and Vincent is changing her mood.
"That bitch used me to pay off her debts." She says shaking her head. It's all York and me and Drake can do is shake our heads. At first York leaves to go to work and Drake then leaves to go to practice.
"I really missed you." She says standing and walking over to sit in my lap.
"I should not have let walk out by yourself. I knew you where at risk." I tell her looking down not wanting to see the hurt in her eyes. Every hour, oh hell every minute she has been gone I have blamed myself.
"No Luke please don't blame yourself, I don't. And Vincent told me that if they had not gotten me then they would have sooner or later." She says looking me in the eye.
"God you are ducking beautiful." I tell her watching her face turn fifty shades of red.
"Lucas, you know how to make a women blush." She says trying to get up.
"Baby, you ain't going anywhere." I tell her pulling her balcony into my lap and standing her up with her. As I am standing she gives me a yelp. Damn that yelp almost sends me over the edge.
"Luke, where are we going?" She ask turning her head and giving me full aces to her neck.
"That was a trick." She says with a giggle.
"I don't know yet." I reply back to her question, as soon as I finish my sentence she locks her ankles behind me, on I am going to fucking die
