"Hazel, I could have had him." Lucas says walking back to the Jeep, I can barely see him now that it is getting dark.
"Lucas, I am sorry." I say knowing he is upset.
"Damn it Hazel. Don't be sorry I should
be sorry." He says turning back around and basically jogging toward me, people probably think we are crazy.
"Lucas, can we please go somewhere." I say meeting him halfway.
"Hazel I'm so sorry, he just pissed me off." He says grabbing my hand and pulling me to the Jeep. As we are getting to the Jeep, I hear Brooklyn talking behind me.
"Luke, I hear Brooklyn and where there is Brooklyn there is Brent." I say partially whispering.
"Sweat heart, I don't give a shit about what they think." He says basically yelling.
"Luke I love you, I have always liked you. But my friends have not." I pause "I am sorry." I say turning my head away.
