There is a clash of thunder as I am walking into the kitchen and all power is lost. Before I can hold it in I am asking "Luke, where are you?", then I feel his hand reach me.
"I am right here." He tells me pulling me into a hug.
"Can I ask you a question, Luke?" I ask going into the hug.
"Yeah, what is it?" He ask into my hair, I can smell him, I love his smell I know it. Basically just Irish Spring soap and sweat.
"Did you see that shadow coming into the kitchen window." I ask slightly looking up at him.
"Yeah I did, don't worry we just need to get some candles and eat our food." He tells me.
"Okay, let's do that." I tell him going to the junk drawer and grabbing a light her and the candle off the counter. Then I sit them both at the table and grab two plates.
