She is handling it really, I can't believe her mom came and then left.
"Will you hold me?" Hazel asks into my chest.
"Where baby?" I ask rubbing her back.
"My room." She says straightening up and grabbing my hand leading me up the stairs and to her room.
Reaching her room she notices that York is in her room.
"York what are you doing?" She ask walking in and laying down her bag.
"Well you see when your mom showed up I moved all my stuff to your room." He says grabbing his duffle and leather jacket.
God how I always hated him in that leather jacket when he would pick up Hazel.
"York damn it, you know that room is always yours." Hazel says touching his arm and smiling.
"Thank you Haz." He says smiling up at her.
"Yeah I love you too York." She say joking with him, as he leaves the room.
Turning around to look at me she is shaking her head.
"My life." She says as I pull her into my chest.
"It's okay baby." I tell her smoothing her hair down her back.
"Luke I am so tired of being strong." She says with a sob.
Moving to her bed and sitting her in my lap with her straddling me.
"Hazel sweetheart you don't have to be strong with me." I say kissing her forehead. Then there comes another sob.
"Go to sleep baby." I tell her laying down with her still on my chest.
Waking up Hazel is laying beside me and is still breathing steadily. Then she moves her eyebrows up and down, with a little giggle her eyelashes flutter open.
"Hey good morning." She says hiding her face in my arm-pit.
"Hey sexy." I say touching her cheek.
"Man that was funny." She says with a grin and a giggle.
"I am not kidding." I tell her as she sits up.
"Yeah, I am going to hop in the shower." She says standing and walking to the bathroom to the side of her room.
As soon as Hazel steps in the shower, York comes busting into the room.
"Okay we've got 9 minutes before she is out. Here's the thing Hazel's dad is downstairs passed out on the porch swing." He says resting in the door way.
"Damn it." I say sitting up and running my hands through my hair.
"Here's another thing I can get him gone in a hour, but you got to keep her busy." He says nodding toward the bathroom door.
"Alright I got this." I tell him giving him a pat on the back and closing the door behind him. Walking into the bathroom, Hazel is already out and standing at the sink brushing her teeth.
"Hey." She says smiling at me and readjusting her towel.
"Hey baby." I say moving closer to her and touching her waist. Then a blush comes over her face and she drops the towel off her head and grabs her hair brush. As she finishes she looks up at me.
"What's wrong baby?" I ask touching her chin so I can see her eyes.
"Your making me nervous." She says shaking her head.
"So this is making you nervous?" I ask picking her up by the waist and sitting her on the counter, then she lets out a quite little moan.
