"Drake, I am coming in." I say as I am knocking on his door.

"Alright, what do you want?" He ask opening the door.

"Just wondering had you talked to mom?" I ask him leaning on the door frame.

"No sorry Haz, is Luke here?" He ask looking down the hallway.

"Yes, and York. He might stay here awhile is that okay with you?" I ask him backing out into the hall.

"It's cool with me." He says popping his knuckles.

"Alright I am going to make breakfast. Be down in thirty." I tell him pulling his door closed.

Heading to the kitchen I see that York is sitting on the couch.

"Hey." I tell him fixing the coffee.

"Can we talk." He says turning around to look at me over the back of the couch.

"Sure. What do you want for breakfast?" I ask walking to the living room.

"Nothing, we need to talk." He says as I sit down.

"Yes, what is it?" I ask looking over at him and I can tell he is hungover and has not slept.

"Sweetheart, my uncle called me last night. Well more like this morning and told me that your mom got in a car last night. It has Iowa plates, and that car hasn't been seen since." He says pulling me into a hug.

"Shit, that is so predicable, what about money?" I rumble to myself quietly, walking back to the kitchen and shaking my head.

"York, please come with me." I tell him walking to my moms room opening it up I see her closet door is open with nothing in it. All her checks and credit cards, plus cash is laid out on the bed.

"Oh my god she knew she was leaving." I tell him walking into the bathroom, and looking in her medicine cabinet.

"Baby girl, please calm down." York says grabbing me by the waist.

"I can't believe she just left us." I whisper looking up at him.

"You going to tell Drake?" He ask sitting down on the bed.

"Not just yet, not Luke either. Please pinky swear." I beg him sticking out my
pinky.

"You still do that." He says raising an eyebrow at me.

"Yes please promise." I say gazing up at him.

"Okay." He says locking pinkies with me.
