God, why did he have to wink at me.
"Okay, even though I look like crap." I tell him looking down at myself.
"You look fine,come on get your keys and let's go." He tells me lifting me off the counter.
"Okay I'll be right back." I tell him pecking him on the cheek and getting the key and meeting him at the front door.
"You ready, girl?" He ask closing the door and locking it behind me. As we are walking down the drive way, I see something out of the corner of my eye.
"Lucas, did you see that?" I ask grabbing his forearm and holding on to it.
"Hazel, it was dog it's alright." He tells me pulling me closer into him.
