"Will do Lucas, have a good day." He tells me. After shutting the for behind me. I pick up the house phone off the charger and dial moms cell number.
"Good morning, mom why'd you call Mr. Marks and not me?" I ask.
"Okay well I was here, love you too bye." I tell her, she thought I was at Brent's.
"Good morning, how did you sleep?" I ask her walking into the kitchen, even though her back is to me, I can tell she is smiling, thank god.
"Good morning, Luke how are you?" She ask me turning around with a banana in her hand.
"Good, did you sleep well?" I ask her grabbing the banana to open it as she turns around to grab the cups.
"Great and you?" She ask pouring the coffee.
"The best I have in days, do you know why?" I ask her as she turns back to me.
"Why, and how do you want your coffee?" She as me smiling.
"Well because I slept next to you." I tell her and then add "And my coffee black."
