Rhianne's POV
It was great having Lilly around for the week. She really made working that much better and everyone loves having her around. They were doing things a little differently this year. All the Audition shows had been film are being shown during the week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Because there are so many audition rounds this year. They're being shown over 4 weeks. They've already started. I now have 2 weeks off before I'm need to film the boot camp show which will be aired on the Saturday after the last audition show then the following Monday the live shows start. For a whole week 5 semi-finals then on the Saturday the 6th august is the final then it's all over.
"Bed time." I said
"okay mum." They said
"Read to me mum?" Jessie said
"Of course sweet." I said
"You guys want to listen." I said
"Yes please mum." They all said.
"Come on then." I said and we all went up stairs
"Jessie as you asked go pick a story sweet." I said when they were all ready for bed.
I sat and read to them for about an hour then they all went to bed.
"Night sweet." I said bending down to kiss Casper on the head.
"Night mum." He said smiling
I went back down stairs.
"You okay babe?" Con asked as I sat down
"Yeah I'm fine." I smiled
"Good to hear." Con said
"How's Jodie?" Con asked
"Yeah she's okay getting fed up now." I said It was now the middle of July. Jodie was due in a matter of weeks and was getting really uncomfortable.
"You going to be around for the birth?" Con asked
"I hope so. I have told ITV that if I get a call from James to say babies are on their way then it will come first. So they have Perrie from little mix on standby to take over from me so that I can be there for Jodie." I said
"That's good." Con said
"Yeah." I smiled I rested my head on his shoulder.
"think we should go on holiday this year." Con said
"where do you want to go?" I asked
"Honestly I don't know." Con said
"You said something about packing the kids and doing a tour around America." I said
"Yeah that might be an idea." Con said
"Go see places we never been before." I said
"Yeah." Con said
The following day I went round to see Jodie and James and helped them sort out the twins bedroom.
"What colour you painting it?" I asked we were stood in what will be the twins room
"I was thinking Green one side and red the other because their sharing." James said hands on his hips.
"That's a lovely idea." I said smiling
"You think?" James said
"Yeah." I said
"What does Jodie think?" I asked
"She thinks it's a stupid idea." James said
"Really?" I said
"Yeah you know what she's like she doesn't care. I'm more excited about this than she is." James said
"Don't forget James she has been carrying those babies for the last 8 months." I said
"I know. I just thought that maybe she might be a bit more enthusiastic." James said
"James." I said looking at him
"Sorry......" He said then he sat on the floor.
"What is it James?" I said sitting next to him
"I'm so worried Rhianne." He said putting his head on my shoulder
"About?" I said
"Can I be a good father." He said
"James......You're an amazing father. You've cared for Ben and have treated him like your own." I said
"Yeah but that's different." James said
"How." I said
"He's not ours. The twins are going to be ours. Flesh and blood." James said
"Oh." I said looking away from him
"You know what I mean." James said
"Yeah....... James you're going to be an amazing father to those twins." I said
"I hope so." James said
"It's going to be fine James. Really. Take it from someone who is mother to 5." I said smiling
"Yeah you're the person I'm going to be coming to for parenting advice." James said
"Hahaha. You're brave." I smiled
"You've done a wonderful job Rhi." James said
"I'd like to think so." I said smiling
"You really have." James said
"Good to hear." I smiled.
"Anyone want tea?" Ben said coming into the room carrying a tray.
"Ahh. Thanks Ben." Me and James said taking a cup each.
"Decided what you're going to do yet?" Ben said
"Nope" me and James said
"I was thinking." Ben said hands on his hips a bit like James had his
"What we're you thinking Ben?" I said taking a sip of my tea
"Green and red make Purple right?" Ben said
"Yeah." James said
"Why not paint the room purple." Ben said me and James looked at each other.
"That's not a bad idea." I said
"You know Ben you might have something there." James said
"Thanks." Ben said
"Well done dude." James said putting his arm round Ben's shoulder
Ben had the biggest smile on his face.
"Don't get cocky." James said
"Sorry dad." Ben said
Me and James spent the rest of the afternoon painting the room.
"Come over tomorrow and help put everything in the room." James asked
"Yeah course." I said
"Thanks Rhi." James said
Over the next few days I helped James and Ben get the room ready for the twins.
"Nice work guys." Jodie said coming into the room
"Thanks." We said
"I like the purple." Jodie said
"it was Ben's idea." James said
"Well done Ben." Jodie said
"Thanks mum." Ben said
"Come on let's go get some lunch." Jodie said
"Good idea." I said
We all went down stairs for some lunch then I went home I had some things to do before the Live semi-finals started.
