The High Life. The final stretch

Chapter 31

As March started so did Britain's got talents auditions. But it also meant that Casper's hockey matches started. I really wanted to be at as many matches as I could, but I don't know how I was going to manage it.

As I was getting ready to leave for Manchester Casper come up to my room.

"Hey Casper." I said smiling moving around the room getting my things together and putting them in my suit case

"Hey mum." He said standing at the door

"What's the matter?" I asked looking at him

"What about skyping?" He said

"Skyping?" I said looking at him confused

"The matches." He said

I understood

"That might not be a bad idea Casper." I said smiling

"Can we trying it." Casper said

"If you like. When's your first match?" I asked

"Thursday at half 12" Casper said

"Great I have lunch at half 12." I said smiling

Casper looked really happy when I said this.

"We can try it sweet." I said smiling

"Thanks." He said

"What to help me finish packing?" I said

"Yeah." He said

It took no time at all to my things together with Casper helping me.

"What else do you need mum?" Casper asked

"A book." I said

"Which one?" He said

"Which ever one you like" I smiled

"Okay." Casper said and he left the room

He came back a couple of minutes later with 2 books. Perks of being a wall flower a book I had read as a teenager that I had rather liked and a Doctor who book that I had never read.

"Thanks Casper." I said putting the doctor who book in my suit case and perks of being a wallflower in my handbag.

"Cool. Come on then Casper lets go get some tea." I said I wasn't leaving until a bit later on which meant the I could help get the kids ready for bed and get them asleep.

"Who wants pizza for dinner." I said

"Yeah." The all said

"Ah." Evie said we all looked at her and she smiled

"Think someone else would like pizza." Con said we all laughed

We enjoyed take away pizza. Evie also enjoyed it getting most of it down her front.

At half 7 we started the bed time routine getting Evie, Blake and Grace in the bath.

While Connor got Blake and Grace washed I got Evie out of her high chair got her ready for bed and gave her some milk before getting her into bed. When Evie was in bed I helped Con get Grace and Blake into bed which didn't take as long as I thought it was going to. Both of them were shattered. When both Blake and Grace were asleep it was time for me to leave.

"What you going to do about Casper's game?" Con said standing at the door to wave me off with Lilly, Casper and Jessie stood behind him

"He said skyping." I said looking at Casper.
