Lilly's POV
Being with mum was great I felt like I hadn't spent time with her in ages. The little ones take up most of mum and dads time so I don't really get much time with them. It's hard but the little time I do get I suck it up and enjoy it. Also being with mum means that I'm away from school and right now school is not somewhere I wish to be. I had a fight with a kid in my class last week. He was saying nasty things about Jessie, Grace and Blake. Normally I don't listen but they annoyed me so much that I hit him. Dad got a letter home about it and I got a very stern talking to about the importance of not being violent and keeping my cool. He also took my wizboard away for a week which means that I don't have it with me while I'm away with mum. But dad said I could have it back when I got home at the weekend. Which was fine.
We're in Plymouth and I get to follow mum round like a sheep getting to do all the things she gets to do I even got my own ear piece so that I could hear what was going on it was very cool but weird though, now I know why mum and sometimes Charlotte complain about them so much. The ear pieces are very uncomfortable to wear. But it's amazing to be like mum and experience it.
Me, Mum and George are stood at the side of the stage watching the current act audition. It was a guy who was trying and failing to sing mum and George were trying hard not to laugh but the pair of them were becoming increasingly more red in the face. I looked at them and smiled. Eventually all 4 judges buzzed and the guy walked off stage looking rather upset. He walked past me, mum and George without saying a word. We looked at each other not say anything.
The next audition was a dance group and they were really good. I'd been watching them rehearse back stage for most of the morning. They really were amazing and it was great to see the crowd in the theatre screaming and shouting.
"That's cool mum." I said smiling at her
"Yeah it is." She said looking at me
Mum had also brought me a new dress as an early birthday present. Being with mum and George was great. But not what I expected at all. I was expecting to have to sit in mums dressing room all day but I wasn't which was nice. Mum was busy but she made sure that I got involved and that I had something to do so I wasn't bored.
Today mum had me getting drinks for the judges. Which I have to admit was a lot of fun all the judges were lovely and really nice.
It was a long day and I was glad it was over. I got into bed and fell asleep but mum stayed awake and spoke to dad about how good I was today.
I again woke up before mum so I got dressed and sat on my bed reading my book (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) until mum's alarm went off
"Morning Lilly." Mum said sitting up
"Morning mum." I said not taking my eyes off my book
"Sleep well?" Mum said getting out of bed and heading into the bathroom.
"yeah to bad." I said
"Good. Your things need packing up we're leaving for Birmingham straight after the show tonight." Mum said poking her head around the bathroom door.
"Okay." I said getting off my bed and putting my book in my bag then packing the rest of my things up.
"Ready." Mum asked 20 minutes later.
"Yeah." I said smiling
"Good come on then." Mum said
We left the room and went to find George who was waiting down stairs for us.
"Morning guys." George said
"Morning George." Me and mum said
"Sleep well?" George said
"Yeah not bad." Mum said
"Good to hear." George said
It was another long day I was glad to get on the train at half 6 to Birmingham. I slept for most of the journey but mum woke me up 10 minutes before we got into Birmingham new street.
We got off the train it was half 11 and I wanted to get to bed as soon as possible. I was so tired and really didn't have the energy to do anything. We got to the hotel George went to his room and me and mum went to ours.
"Night Lilly." Mum said as she got into bed
"Night mum." I said
Over the next couple of day's I enjoyed hanging out with mum and George. The pair of them worked so well together and got on really well as well.
Friday morning and me, mum and George were heading back to London for the last set of audition. But that meant being able to go home.
"DAD." I shouted jumping on him as we arrived home
"You've only been away for 4 days." Dad said
"Yeah I know but I've missed you." I said
"okay." Dad said
"Come on Lilly we have to go." Mum said
"thought that was it? Thought I was staying at home." I said looking at her
"Do you want to stay here?" Mum said
"nope." I said
"Well then." Mum said and she walked off I looked at dad smiled and ran after her.
"What we doing today?" I asked when I reached mum
"You'll see." Mum said as we got into the car
I didn't say anything.
We got to the theatre where the show was being filmed hundreds and hundreds of people were waiting outside.
"You okay Lilly?" Mum said we had pulled up out the front
"yeah I'm fine." I said smiling
Together we got out of the car. The people waiting turned round to see who had got out of the car and everyone started to cheer and clap. This didn't bother me. Growing up with Connor Ball as my dad and seeing hundreds of fans screaming, shouting and pointing finger didn't bother me anymore.
"You okay?" Mum asked
"Yeah I'm fine." I said
"okay cool. Come on then." She said taking hold of my hand and we walked straight through the crowd towards the theatre
We reached the theatre without being stopped.
"That went well." I said
"Yeah it did." Mum said sounding rather surprised
"Come on let's go in." Mum said letting go of my hand and walking into the theatre.
"Hey George." I said seeing George sat on the stage in the theatre.
"Hey Lilly. You okay?" He asked
"Yeah I'm good thanks." I said jumping up onto the stage and sitting next to George
"Good to hear." George said
"Yeah. What you doing?" I asked
"Not much look." George said handing me a piece of paper.
"That's this." I said
"Just drawing." He said by the look of it he'd drawn the theatre we were sat in.
"It's good George." I said handing him back the drawing.
"thanks." George said taking the paper.
"No problem." I smiled
"Lilly-Anna." Mum shouted
"Coming mum." I said getting up and heading back stage.
"You okay?" Mum asked when I reached her dressing room
"Yeah thanks." I said smiling
"Good to hear. You getting changed?" Mum said
"Yeah I might do." I said
"Okay well clothes are in the bag." Mum said
"Thanks mum." I said
"No problem." Mum said
