Chapter 35

Having Connor around was great. He stuck around until lunch time the following day because he had to get back to get the kids from school.

"See you tomorrow night." Con said as he was about to leave my dressing room

"Have fun. Let me know when you get home." I said

"Will do." Con said coming over to kiss me

I smiled and Connor left.

George appeared 10 minutes later.

"Just seen Connor leave." He said

"Yeah he's got to get the kids from school." I said smiling

"Did you have a good night?" George asked

"Yeah it was great." I smiled

"Look what he got me." I said holding out my hand to show George my wedding ring

"Your already married." George said

"Yeah but..." I took it off "It's a new one exactly the same but he's had our anniversary date put on the inside." Handing the ring to George

"That's cute." George said looking at my ring then handing it back.

"Thanks." I smiled

We had a right laugh that day. The auditions were a lot of fun, most of the people were dreadful.

"Oh come on can we not have at least 1 person that's good." I said half way through the afternoon

"I was thinking the same thing." George said

Connor's POV

I got home about half an hour before I had to go get the kids from school. Being with Rhianne on our anniversary was just what I needed.

The house was empty as the children had been staying with the others. Jessie and Grace had been with Charlotte and Michael, Lilly had been with James and Jodie, Evie had stayed with Tristan I wasn't picked her up until just after dinner something about Tristan enjoying having her around. Casper and Blake had stayed with Ashton.

"Come on guys get in. Casper, Jessie, Grace homework please I don't want to have to spend all night doing it. Casper don't moan please also you have hockey practice at 5." I said as we walked through the door

"Dada I'm hungry." Blake said

"Yeah me to." Casper and Jessie said

"Okay sit at the table with your homework at the ready and I'll get something to eat." I said

"Okay." They said all of them headed for the table.

It took me a little over an hour to get them all through their homework. Then whizzed Casper over to hockey practice.

"That was great Casper." I said smiling as Casper came off the ice.

"Thanks." Casper said

"Ready for the match on Saturday?" I said

"Yeah I think so. And mums going to be there for the match this time." Casper said
"Yeah she is. She's really excited about it." I said as we walked towards that car.

"Hey Casper has your mum finally left."

"What did you say?" Lilly said turning around to face the boys that had just shouted she had only just arrived, 10 minutes before Casper's practice finished

"Ignore them Lill." Casper said

"Guys." I said

"What did you say?" Lilly said again. Walking over to the boys

"Who are you?" One of the boys said

"I'm his big sister." Lilly said

"I asked if his mum had finally left." One of the lads said

"Last time I checked she hadn't left......But I'm sure that if you want to take the piss out of my brother again I'll shove this hockey stick where the sun doesn't shine. Now I'm sure you really wouldn't want that. no?" Lilly said

Me, Casper, Grace, Jessie and Blake were all stood in a line watching.

"No." The boys said Lilly towered over the 3 of them.

"Now run along." Lilly said the kids ran away Lilly turned around to look at us

"I'm glad you're my sister." Casper said smiling

"You didn't hear that did you dad?" Lilly said

"Nope not at all." I said turning around

"Good." Lilly said

We all started to laugh.

We got home and had something to eat. Then with Lilly's help I got Casper, Jessie, Blake, Grace and Evie into bed. Then when the younger ones were in bed me and Lilly sat at the table and got her homework done. Which took longer than we both expected but we got through it.

"Right Lilly up to bed sweet." I said when we had finished.

"Night dad." She said kissing the top of my head

"Night babe." I said smiling

"See you in the morning." She said as she walked of out the dining room

Rhianne POV

I got through the next couple of days with the knowledge that I was going to watch Casper in his hockey game on Saturday.

"See you Monday." I said as we parted at the train station on Friday evening

"Have a good time at the match tomorrow." George said

"Thanks." I smiled

We hugged and I left for home.

I got home and Connor was just putting the kids to bed.

"Night guys." I said going into each of their rooms in turn

"Night mum." They said smiling

"Babe?" I said heading into the living room

"Hey." He said smiling he was lying on the sofa

"You okay?" I asked

"Yeah fine." He said smiling

"Good, bed time?" I said

"Yes please." Con said

"Good come on before Evie's wakes up." I said

"Yeah." Con said

I smiled and the 2 of us went up to bed.
