Chapter 71

Rhianne's POV

At 8:30 in the morning just as I was about to take the kids to school I got a picture text from Lilly. She was holding Izzy in her arms. She's all bundled up in a blanket and all you could see was her tiny little head. The message read 'Izzy born 7:45 this morning weight 5lb 6oz. Kyle born 8:04 this morning weight 5lb 9oz.'

"Look guys. The twins." I said showing the kids before we left.

"Aww." They all said

"Con." I shouted up the stairs.

"Yeah. What's wrong. Everything okay?" He said racing down the stairs

"Brad and Sid are parents." I said showing him the picture of Lilly

"I thought something had happened." He said stopping at the bottom of the stairs.

"Something has happened. Your best friend is a dad." I said smiling

"And your daughter is a godparent." Con said we looked at each other and smiled.

"Come on mum we're going to be late." Jessie said

"Come on then." I said and we left for school.

I got back from the school and Lilly and Ben were there.

"Hey." I said walking into the kitchen and putting Evie in her high chair so she could have something to eat.

"Hey mum." Lilly said

"How are they?" I asked

"There great. The doctor said that all being well and if they're okay during the day then they should be allowed home tonight." Lilly said

"that's great." I said smiling

"Yeah. Brad and Sid can't wait to get them home." Ben said

"I bet." Con said putting some strawberries and banana on Evie's tray.

"There've gone home to get some bit for when they do come home. We've just popped home to say how the twins are." Lilly said

"You going back?" I asked

"Yeah." Lilly said

"Brad wants us there as much as possible, so the twins get used to us." Ben said

"Fair enough." I said

"Yeah." They said

10 minutes later brad and Sid arrived to get Lilly and Ben.

"Congratulation boys." I said smiling

"Thanks." They said

"Finally you have family." Con said

"Yeah. Long time in the making." Brad said

"You coming?" Brad said to Lilly and Ben

"Yeah." They said

They left and it was just me, Con and Evie left in the house.

Over the next couple of hours, we got regular updates from Brad, Sid, Ben and Lilly. Pictures and text messages about how the twins were getting on and from their text's at least Izzy would be allowed home tonight. The doctors were concerned about Kyle's breathing and wanted to keep him in overnight to make sure everything was okay and that nothing serious was going on.

"How are they?" Casper asked when he got home

"Yeah Izzy should be coming home tonight. Kyle might have to stay in over night. Doctors are worried about his breathing." I said
