After turning my phone off while I was in the hospital when I finally turned it back on when I got home the following morning I had about 15 text messages and about 20 miss call.
3 text messages were from Connor but I had already spoken to him, 4 were from George asking if everything went okay and tell me what the results were. A guy called Max Howard had won the show. He did gymnastics and if I'm honest I didn't like him very much. I had a couple from Ashton, Charlotte and Michael all asking how everything had gone and the others were from Friends and family asking why I wasn't host for last night Britain's got talent. I ignored them all and deleted the unimportant ones then sorted out the phones calls I had reserved. When I had finished I put my phone on charge and left it.
"Kids come on lunch." I shouted into the garden. We had both Jacob and Ben because James was still at the hospital with Jodie and Charlotte and Michael had gone over to see them.
"Coming." They shouted running into the house.
"Hands." I said
"Okay." They said Ben, Lilly, Casper, Jessie and Jacob all went upstairs to do their hands and Grace and Blake washed theirs in the kitchen
Ben, Lilly, Casper, Jessie and Jacob came down and we all sat at the table to have some lunch.
When lunch was over they went back outside to play.
"Guys shall we go for a walk?" I said
"Yeah." They all said
I called Connor and told him, He was at the label working. Then I called Ashton, Luke and Calum to see if they wanted to come. Only Ashton was around the other 2 were at the label with Connor, Brad and Trist.
"Hey Ash." I said when Ash walked through the door half an hour later
"Hey Rhi, Hey kids." He said
"Uncle Ashton." The kids shouted running at him and flattening him
"hey." Ash said again.
"Guys." I said
"Sorry." They said getting off Ash and standing up
"Right shoes on let's go." I said
"Okay." They said and we headed out. We went for a lovely walk along the River Themes
We got home just before dinner, Connor was home and cooking chilli. Luke and Calum were there as well.
"Hey babe." I said wrapping my arms around him
"Hey. Good walk?" Con asked
"Yeah it was nice. Have fun at work?" I asked
"Yeah it was okay......." Con said
"good to hear. Everyone here?" I said
"No. but Charlotte called to say her and Michael were on their way over." Con said
"Okay." I said
It was lovely to have everyone round the only people missing were Jodie, James and twins. They had been told that they should be able to go home tomorrow which was great and for some reason Ben had asked if he could stay with us tomorrow night. Which I thought was odd. But I wasn't going to question it. He was staying with us tonight because James was staying with Jodie
"Rhianne can I talk to you?" Ben said before going to bed.
"Yeah course." I said
Together we went out into the garden and sat on the bench
"What's up?" I asked
"Do you think Jodie and James will want to keep me if they have their family now?" Ben said this shocked me a little. I wasn't expecting it.
"Course they will your part of the family now. We're stuck with you for life now." I said smiling
"But they have their own family. It's what they've always wanted." Ben said
"That's true Ben but just because they have their family doesn't mean you can't be part of it. Jodie and James are counting on you to be big brother to those babies. And they are so excited to see you with them." I said smiling
Ben didn't say anything
"Listen to me Ben. Jodie and James have both said to me how much they love you. They don't see you as not theirs you're always going to be their son even when your 50 you will always be their son. Stop your worrying. If you want, I have to go get James and Jodie from the hospital tomorrow why don't you come with me. I know you haven't seen the twins yet so come with me." I said smiling
"Can I" Ben said
"Your course you can." I said smiling
"thanks." Ben said
"Go on now up to bed." I said
"okay. Night Rhianne." Ben said standing up and giving me a hug. He then went inside and up to bed. He was in the spare room
"What was that all about?" Con said coming outside to sit with me. Everyone had gone home
"Just wanted a chat." I said
"Fair enough." Con said putting his arm round me
"This is it Rhi." He said looking at me
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Life." He said
"Yeah. Life just kicked in. that rules out touring again." I said smiling
"You would tour again?" Con said
"You know Con......I think I would. I love it so much." I said
Con smiled.
"I have one of your tour DVD on my ipad and I was sat watching it while I was in the hospital with Jodie when James had gone to get something to eat. It's the one from like 2014 so it's a really young Vamps." I said smiling
"I liked that tour." Con said
"I like watching the DVD." I said smiling
Con didn't say anything
"Think it might be bed time." I said
"Think you might be right." Con said standing up
