Chapter 81

Alice left early the next day just after I had got back from dropping the kids off school and Evie at nursery.

"Thanks again Rhianne." She said

"No problem." I said

"Hope everything's okay." Alice said

"I'm sure it will be okay." I said

"I'll ring in a few days and make sure everything's okay." Alice said

"Okay." I said

Alice smiled and she left.

Over the next couple of weeks we as a house hold got used to having new borns in the house again. The kids were getting used to it however, Evie had taken it hard that she no longer had mummy all to herself and was being rather a pain.

"Evanna ball come on please." I said I was taking Evie to nursery for the afternoon and she was putting a good fight not to go.

"Want to stay here." She said

"Evie." I stared at her

"Please mummy." She said

"But you like going?" I said

"But me want to stay." Evie said

"Fine, but you're going tomorrow Evanna Ball." I said

"Yay." She said doing a little dance.

Me, Evie, the twins and the dogs went out for walk and I have to say it was rather lovely. Lilly joined us half way round our walk as it's her day off college.

"You okay?" I asked her.

"Yeah thanks mum." She said taking old of the push chair and pushing Katie, I had Modesty in the sling, and Evie was walking.

"Good to hear, how's it living with Ben." I asked

"Yeah, it's been nice." Lilly said

"You don't sound very enthusiastic." I said

"It's just Ben's been acting very strange." Lilly said

"Have you tried talking to him?" I asked

"Yeah but each time I try he looks at me as though I'm going mad." She said

I smiled "have you been around lately."

"Not really, course work and skating has been talking up a lot of my time." Lilly said

"Maybe try being around a bit more then, that way you'll know that's wrong." I said

"Do you think I'm going mad." Lilly asked

"Not at all sweet." I said

We got to the park and while I was feeding the twins, Lilly played with Evie on the park.

"Come on lets get home, we need to pick the kids up from school." I said

"Oh." Evie said

"Come on mum, I'll bring her home in a bit. Leave one of the twin here as well." Lilly said

"You sure sweet?" I said

"Yeah mum. Mod's asleep and I'm sure we won't be long. I have a key if we get home before you." Lilly said

"Okay sweet. I'll take the dogs." I said

"Okay." Lilly said

Me, Katie and the dogs headed home leaving Evie, Lilly and Modesty at the park for a bit longer. When I got home Connor was back from the label and was sorting tea out.
