The High Life. The final stretch

Chapter 49

Rhianne POV.

Over the next couple of month's tour plans started to come together. The boys were getting excited now. Brad and Sid's wedding plans were also coming together now as well. It was lovely to see them so happy.

Because tour was so long and the boys wanted it done over the summer. It was starting when the kids finished school at the start of July. Then stopping for about 4 days while Brad and Sid got married then when tour was over they would go on their honeymoon.

At the start of June, Lilly was having a rubbish time she was training 3 times a week with Ethan, revising any spare second she got and still finding time to work and spend time Ben.

"Lilly. You're going to run yourself down." I said 3 days before her exams were due to start.

"I know. But just want to get my exams out of the way and then I can focus on the tour." Lilly said

"Why don't you stop training until your exams are over?" I said

"I can't do that. We still have so much work to do before the winter show." Lilly said

"Honestly Lilly." I said

"Sorry mum I said I'd meet Ben for a walk." Lilly said looking at her phone

"Okay sweet heart." I said and with that Lilly left

"What is she going to do with herself." I said heading into the kitchen to talk to Connor who was making lunch for Casper, Evie, Grace and Blake, Jessie was round at Charlotte's having lunch there.

"I have no idea." Con said

"She's going to make herself really ill." I said

"Yeah I know." Con said

"Don't say I told you so Connor." I said he had a smug look on his face

"I'm not saying anything." Con said

"Good." I said

I helped him with lunch then put Evie down for a sleep while Connor took the others out.

Lilly got back just after Connor did and she looked shattered.

"What have you been doing?" I asked

"We went to the revision café at school to get some work done. My brain has never hurt so much." She said

"Oh Lilly go up and have a sleep I'll come wake you up when tea's ready." I said

"Okay." She said heading up to her room.

I made dinner then went to wake Lilly up.

"Sweet heart." I said poking my head round the door

It took a couple of minutes for me to wake her.

"Yeah." She said

"Dinner sweet." I said

"Okay." She said getting off her bed.

Lilly started her exams and so did Ben the pair of them spent long hours in the music room at home revising.

When their exams finally came to an end it meant that Lilly and Ben could relax for a couple of weeks. But July was fast approaching and with the start of tour and Brad and Sid's wedding coming up as well it was all systems go. Lilly and Ben had been roped in (now they've finished school) to help with wedding preparations and tour preparations.

"Lilly where are James's in ears?" I asked 3 days before tour started on the 10th

Everyone is at the record label getting ready for the start of tour.

"Last time I saw them they were in the stage room." Lilly said

"Okay thanks" I said heading up to the top floor of the record label to find the in ears.

They were up in the stage room. I brought them down, James had been looking for them to make sure they were right as the boys had had new ones done about 2 weeks ago.

"Find them Rhi?" James said.

"Yeah." I said handing them to James

"Thanks." He said

10th July. Show 1 of 2 in London

The London shows are home shows which means we don't have to travel that far.

Show starts at 5 with Lazer light opening the show ready for the 5sos boys to go on first. Both bands were super nervous and in fairness I could see why. But 15 minutes after tickets had gone on sale they'd all sold out. Every last show around the world. Lilly and Ben had the 'man up' attitude about the whole thing. Every time one of the boys said that they were nervous they would roll theirs eye and say 'man up'.

Everyone was up at stupid o'clock morning of the first show because me and Lilly were meeting Charlotte, Jodie, Edward, Josh and Ben at the venue to get the stage up and get all the security team ready.

"Lilly-Anna are you ready?" I shouted from the hall way

"Yeah. I'm coming." She said coming down the stairs she was pulling on her Slytherin hoodie she'd got from Disney the last time we'd been

"Good come on we're running late." I said

"Okay." She said

"See you later Connor." I said going into the kitchen to kiss Connor. He was coming over to the venue a little bit later with the kids.

"See you in a bit." Connor said

Me and Lilly left for the venue. Charlotte, Jodie, Ben, Josh and Edward were there already waiting for us when we arrived.

"Finally you're here." Charlotte said

"You can't tell me you've been hanging around for me to get here." I said

"Yeah. You have the stage plans." Charlotte said

"Charlotte you put the bloody plans together. You know it better than any of us." I said

"I didn't want to get any of it wrong." She said

I looked at the otherS and rolled my eyes.

It took us the best part of 4 hours to get the stage up, get the security team ready and sort everything else out. Lilly and Ben had been pulled in to help with the selling of t shirts and stuff. Which neither of them were really happy about but it did mean that they got to wear a t shirt each. Lilly in the 5sos one and Ben in the Vamps one. When Connor, James, Brad and Tristan turned up they said that Lilly had crossed over to the dark side. Ash, Luke, Calum and Michael however said that Lilly was wearing the better one of the two.

While the boys got on with sound check and got ready while I fed the kids.
