Chapter 42

Connor's POV

I got home at half 9 and Rhi was sat at the table help Lilly with her homework.

"Hey babe." I said going into the dining room

"Hey how was work?" Rhi asked

"Yeah it was okay." I said

"Nearly done then I'll get your tea." Rhi said

"No it's okay I'll do it." I said heading into the kitchen

"Right Lilly." I heard Rhi say.

I smiled and got on with making myself something to eat.

"Night dad." Lilly said coming into the kitchen 20 minutes later having finished her homework

"Night sweetheart." I said kissing her good night

"See you in the morning mum." Lilly said as she walked out the kitchen

"Night babe." Rhi said she walked into the kitchen and wrapped her arms around my waist.

"Hello." Rhi said in my ear.

"Hey." I said smiling

"Good day at the office?" She said

"Yeah it wasn't bad thanks." I said

"Good to hear. Anything new?" Rhi asked

"Not really." I said turning in her arms to face her "We're thinking about touring next summer." I looked at her

"during the holiday?" Rhi said

"Yeah so that the kids can come." I said

"Fab. I'll be there and I'm sure there is no way of holding the kids back." Rhi said

"You're okay with this?" I said

"Yeah it sounds good fun. I know Casper, Lilly and Jessie have all missed touring." Rhi said

"Great. I'm glad you're okay with this." I said

"Why wouldn't I be?" Rhi said

"Because last time I said about touring you said no." I said

"Things change." Rhi said

"Yeah they do." I smiled

That night we enjoyed chilling out and watching love actually.

Over the next couple of days after a lot of talks it had been decided that together with the 5sos boys we're going to do a major city tour over the summer holidays next year after Brad and Sid's wedding. What's going to happen is a joint tour so joint shows. Some days we'd go first and some days the 5sos boys would go first. But it also meant that we had to change the timing of things so that we could do a full length show (2 hours) and for the show to not finish stupidly late. The show would start at half 5 instead of half 7 and then would finish about 10 instead if half 10-11. It also meant that Rhi, Jodie, Charlotte and the kids could watch. Which was lovely because it had been so long since they'd all watched a show.

As October soon turned into November which then turned into December Rhianne was getting more and more stressed about the production of Christmas Carol. It even got to the point that she snapped at Lilly because Lilly had painted one of the set pieces wrong it even made Lilly cry. Rhi felt so bad that she took Lilly out to dinner and to the cinema just the 2 of them.

As opening night drew closer everyone was roped into helping with preparations. It had even drawn the attention of the media.

Less than a week before opening night some people came to the label to interview Rhianne.
