Over a week we went from Sydney to Perth and finally Adelaide touring was taking its toll on our bodies. The kids were shattered, so for the last day in Australia me and the kids plus Jodie, the twins, Charlotte and Jacob went out for a walk to get away from the mayhem of tour life. Charlotte left Edward and Josh in charge. Which I thought was a good idea, because it wouldn't be long before both Josh and Edward would be taking over from Charlotte. It was good to get out and chill for a bit.
The kids enjoyed themselves and me, Charlotte and Jodie had some time to talk and not have to worry about anything that was going on at the arena.
"It's so nice to be out and about." I said as we walked through the park near the arena
"Yeah. Just getting out and not stressing." Charlotte said smiling
"It's good to get away for a bit. Think it might be time to go find a cup of tea and get ice cream for the kids." Jodie said
"That's a good idea." I said smiling
We headed to a little café in the centre of the park.
"What do you guys want?" I asked the kids
"Can I just have a cup of tea please mum." Lilly asked
"Do you not want ice cream?" I asked
"No thanks just a good cup of tea." Lilly said
"Okay sweet. Boys?" I said
"Chocolate please mum." Casper said
"Strawberry please mum." Jessie said
"Blake?" I said
"banana please." Blake said
"Grace?" I said looking at her
"Fudge please." Blake said
"Evie?" She was on my back in the sling
"Cake please." She said
"Which one?" I said
"That one." She said pointing at the chocolate cake.
"Okay." I said
We ordered what we wanted, then went to sit down a table for the older kids and me, Jodie and Charlotte plus the twins and Evie on another table.
We got back to the arena at just gone half 4. Connor and James were having something to eat the others were in the arena messing around
"What are you doing?" I said standing on the stage
"Messing around." Ash said
"Well at least your honest." I said smiling
"I try." Ash said grinning.
"They're letting fans in soon. You need to come back stage." I said
"You're a kill joy." Calum said
"I know sorry." I said
"Come on." Charlotte said
"No fun." Luke said
"Sorry guys." I said
We all went back stage and got ready for the show. Lazer light went on first to get the crowd warmed up.
"5sos boys you ready?" I said
"Yeah." Michael said
"Ash?" I said
"Yeah. Will you see what's going on with my in ear pack please." He said he's been trying to put it down his back for the last 10 minutes.
"It's twisted." I said
