Live semi-finals week.
"See you later babe." I said leaning down to kiss Connor on the head he was in bed with all 5 children watching the lion king it's 7:30 in the morning semi-final 1.
"Have fun." Con said
"Thanks." I said smiling
"See you later mum." The kids said
"Have a good day." I smiled
"What time's the show?" Lilly asked looking at me
"Half 8." I said
"Okay." She said looking back at the TV
I smiled then left.
"Morning George." I said getting into the ITV Elstree studios
"Morning." He said
"You look very happy this morning." I said
"I'm always happy." He said
"Yeah this is true." I said
"What's the plan for today?" I asked George always got in before I did, so knew everything.
"Full run through of all 8 acts then the live show." George said
"Fab." I said
"Yeah which means that we're not needed until this afternoon." George said
"What?" I said
"Yeah I know. I got in and they were like we don't need you till this afternoon." George said
"And you didn't think to text me." I said
"Well I thought if I had to suffer the so did you." George said smiling
"Thanks." I said
"no problem." He said
"Hows your friend?" George asked as we walked towards my dressing room
"Yeah she's okay getting fed up now." I said
"I bet. When's she due?" He asked
"Friday." I said
"Oh." George said
"Yeah so if I have to suddenly leave then Perrie is stepping in for me." I said
"Fab. I like Perrie." George said
I smiled
"Want to get some breakfast?" George asked
"Yeah. Let me dump my stuff in my dressing room first." I said
"Okay." He said
We got to my dressing room I put my things on the chair then we headed down to catering where some of tonight's acts were waiting.
"Hey guys." I said walking into the room
"Hey Rhianne." Some of them said
"Hey George." Some of them said
"Hey guys." Some of them said
"You guys ready?" I said
Some of them said no and some said Yes.
"Filling me with confidence." George said
"they all look ready George." I said
"Yeah they do." George said
We had some breakfast then went to find something to do the pair of us were so bored. We found Little mischief the dance group made up of about 15 children aged from about 6 to about 11 running through the act on stage.
"They look so good." I said
"Yeah they do." George said
"Lilly and Casper love these guys." I said smiling
"Yeah my niece Poppy loves them as well." George said
Me and George stood side stage for a while watching Little mischief.
They all looked so excited coming off stage. Martin their coach was stood there waiting for them when they came off.
"That was amazing guys. Well done." Martin said
They all smiled.
Me and George looked at each other and walked off.
That nights show was amazing and I really didn't want to send any of them home but results time and only 2 could go through to the final on Saturday.
Little mischief got through but it was between. Ben Miller a singer only 18 and Rosie Elizabeth and solo dance act.
"Right judge in turn im going to ask each of you to name the act you want to stay in the competition in the event of a tie we go to dead lock and it's the act with the most public vote that will go through." George said
"Mel." I said Mel is a choreographer and has worked with loads of massive artists
"You both did really well tonight and should both be very proud but the act I would like to see in the final is Rosie." Mel said
The audience cheered
"that's one vote for Rosie." George said
"Dan we move on to you." I said Dan is an Ex singer.
"Yeah both of you were amazing tonight, But I would like to see Ben in the final." Dan said
"That's one vote each." I said
"Grace. We move on to you." George said Grace is a very wealthy woman and would you believe the daughter of Simon Cowell she took over from him when he retired about 9 years ago.
"Straight and simple I would like to see Rosie in the final." She said folding her arms
"That two vote to Rosie and one to Ben. If Alex goes for Rosie then she through to the final however if he goes for Ben then it goes to dead lock and the public decided. So Alex who would you like to see in the final." I said
"Honestly you both deserve it. so im going to send it to public vote. I want to save Ben." Alex said
"Well then dead lock........" George said
There was a pause.
"The person who received the most public vote and who will be going through with Little mischief to Saturdays final will be........." I said
There was another pause....
"It's Ben." I said the audience cheered and Ben collapsed to his knees.
"Well done Ben and we have to say a sad fair well to Rosie." George said taking hold of Rosie's hand and pulling her into a hug
We said a sad goodbye to Rosie. Everyone back stage gave her a hug as she came off stage. They all love her. She's such a nice person and is always helping someone with something. It's lovely to see.
It was gone midnight when I got home. The kids were in bed but Connor was up and watching TV
"Hey babe." I said
"Hey. Didn't hear you come in." He said turning the TV off and standing up
"Was trying not to make to much noise didn't want to wake the kids." I said
"only the little ones will be a sleep. Casper, Jessie and Lilly only went up about half an hour ago." Con said
"Oh." I said
"They wanted to watch the show." Connor said
"Fair enough." I said
"I said Grace could watch it during the day tomorrow." Con said
"Fair enough." I said again
"You okay babe." Con asked
"Yeah just really tired." I said
"Yeah......Lets go up to bed." Connor said
"Okay." I said and together we headed up to bed.
