Chapter 46

They found a virus in Lilly's lungs.

"I want to see my daughter." Con said fighting me off

"Connor Samuel Ball stop now." I said pushing him away

"You can see her when you calm down." I said

"Come on Connor." James said

"I want to see her." He said

"And you will when you stop being a pain in the arse." I said

"Right you calm now." I said

"Yeah." Connor said

"Good. Right she's got a virus they might have to move her to ICU but they're not sure yet." I said

"How's she picked up a virus?" James asked

"I don't honestly know. But they don't think it's linked to the allergic reaction." I said

"That's good then." James said

"Yeah. They've got her on antibiotics." I said

"Does this mean she might have to stay longer?" Con said

"Yeah and they said that if it carries on then it might be the 5th February before she can go home." I said

"Can she not be transferred to a hospital closer to home?" James said

"It can be possible but it would have to be in a medical transport plane. Which cost thousands of pounds." I said

"Rhi this is our daughter. She's better off at home in a place she knows." Con said

"Con I won't put her through the 12 hour flight in the state that she's in. She can hardly sit up at the moment." I said

"But I want her at home." Con said

"Con she can't leave until they think she's okay and even then she can't fly she wouldn't cope with the flight." I said

"But....."

"Con your losing the battle mate." James said putting his hand on Connor shoulder

"I just want her at home." Connor

"I know Con and I want her at home as well but right now until they now what caused the virus she can't go anywhere." I said putting my arms around him

"What we going to do about the kids." Con said

"It's best if you go home. They all can't miss school it's bad enough Lilly's going to miss some. Ben do you mind getting Lilly's time table and going to the lesson she should have and getting some work for her." I said looking at him

"Yeah that's fine." Ben said

"Thanks sweet." I said

"No problem. I'll email them to you." Ben said

"Thanks also anything else you can get for her please get it sent to me." I said

"Rhi you don't have a laptop." Con said

"Then I'll just have get one Con. You know what Lilly's like she hates being off school." I said

"Yeah." Con said

"And she got her GCSE's this year so she needs to keep up." I said

Later that night Lilly was moved to an ICU room of her own. I didn't leave her side other than to go back to the band house to fill everyone in and to get some clothes. She didn't want to be alone so I'd left Ben there with her for company.
