The High Life. The final stretch

Chapter 24

When we got home to my surprise Niall and Liam from one direction were there.

"Boys." I shouted running at them

"Rhianne?" They jumped on me

"What you doing here?" I asked

"Came to meet the new addition." Niall said

"Yeah where is the little one?" Liam said

"Casper" I said turning round

Casper was carrying Evie in her car seat as she was a sleep.

"Aww she looks like you Rhi." Niall said

"I hope so." I smiled taking the car seat from Casper.

"How old is she now?" Liam asked as I walked past them carrying Evie into the living room.

"4 months." I said

"She's so cute." Niall said

"Thanks." I said smiling

"How are the others?" I asked

"Yeah there all great." Liam said all the boys had moved out to America about 6 years ago to escape London. I don't blame them at all but it sucks not having them around

"How long you back for?" Lilly asked coming into the kitchen She had just got back she's been out with Ben for the morning.

"Wow. Look at you all grown up now." Liam said staring at Lilly which caused Connor to hit him round the head.

"Ouch." Liam said

"Stop staring at my daughter then." Con said

"Sorry." Liam said looking at me

"We're back for another 2 weeks. Harry and Louis come over on Monday they said something about coming over to see you." Niall said

"That'll be nice." I said

"Yeah it will be good to see them." Con said

When Evie woke up the boys got to hold her. She cried at Liam and she went really quiet when Niall held her.

"How do you do that?" Liam said

"Magic." Niall smiled looking down at Evie she was watching him so intensively.

When she started making a fuss because she wanted feeding Niall asked if he could feed her.

"Course." I said

"Is there a bottle in the fridge mum?" Lilly asked

"There should be sweet." I said

"Okay." Lilly said heading into the kitchen

"She's grown up so much." Niall said

"Yeah she has." I smiled

"How old is she now?" Liam asked

"14." Con said

"Bless her." Niall said

It was great seeing Liam and Niall it had been so long since we had seen them so to spend some time with them was lovely.

As it got closer to Christmas we thought that maybe taking the kids to America this year would be nice. Jodie, James the twins and Ben were coming and so was Charlotte Michael and Jacob but also Ash, Luke and Edward would also be joining us. Calum was going to see his family this year which was nice because he hadn't been back to Australia in ages. His brother had just got married and his sister was about to get married so he was going back to celebrate with them.

I was excited about going back to America it had been so long since I had been there. Connor and the boys had been a couple of times for writing session but I hadn't been in just over a year. mainly because life got in the way, Britain's got talent and mine and George's own Tv show I just hadn't had the time. He was doing some work with Perrie at the moment but come the new year it would be the 2 of us again and I couldn't wait to get to working with him because we work so well. There was also a part of me that was really scared about going to America because it would be Evanna's first trip on a plane and that scared me a little. I knew having done it loads with the other children that everything would be fine, but there was that thing at the back on my mind that something could go wrong. Connor was being great really helpful when it came to packing. I was convinced that at only 4 and a half months Evanna was teething meaning that she really didn't want to be put down on a couple of occasion I had had to get Lilly to put Evie in the sling and take her out so that I could get some packing down. Packing for a baby is a lot harder than packing for the kids. Lilly, Casper and Jessie are all pretty good at packing now having done it since a young age Grace is getting there she can pack just needs a list to know what to pack, but packing for Blake and Evie is so hard because you always over pack and take things that you know that they won't need. I would take packing for 4 older children to packing for 2 under 4 any day.

18th December

"Connor what have you done with the clothes that I put on Evie's changing mat?" I shouted down the stairs 2 days before we were leaving
Connor came to the bottom of the stairs and said "I put them away."

"Not helpful babe some of those clothes are going in the bag that's coming on the plane with us." I said

"Sorry." Con said

"It's okay I will just find them." I said

"Okay. By the way lunch in nearly ready and Evie's passport is here." He said

"Great. Was so worried it wouldn't arrive." I said

"Yeah so was I." Con said

I got everything ready then went down to have lunch with everyone.
