The High Life. The final stretch

Chapter 2

Over the next couple of months, me and George had meeting after meeting about Britain's got talent.

March started and it's mine and Connor crystal wedding anniversary. 15 years we've been married and because I was busy with filming addition rounds of Britain's got talent I couldn't be with Connor or so I thought.

I was in Manchester. I hadn't seen Connor or the kids for about 2 weeks I'd been so busy.

13th March our anniversary.
"Rhianne. There's someone here to see you." There was a knock on my dressing room door.

"Yeah come in. I'm dressed." I said my runner Steph walked in followed by Connor.

"Connor." I screamed jumping out of my seat and throwing my arms around Connor

"Hey babe." He said smiling

"It's good to see you." I said

"You as well babe." He said

"Where are the kids?" I asked

"Edward is looking after Blake, Charlotte and Michael have Casper and Jessie. James and Jodie have Lilly and Ashton has Grace." Connor said

"You left them behind?" I said

"Yeah. I wanted to come and see you and they all had school." Connor said

"Oh." I said

"Yeah." Connor said

"Why don't you watch the show?" I asked

"Can I?" Con said

"Yeah course I can get you a seat." I said grinning he seemed really excited about being able to watch the show. It was being filmed now but wasn't being shown until May.

"I've got you a seat." I said walking back into the dressing room

"Thanks." Con said

"You okay?" I asked

"Yeah." He said "Just missed having you around again." He grabbed hold of me around the waist and pulled my body towards him.

"Aww." I said kissing him.

"It's good to have you here." I said smiling

"It's good to be spending our anniversary together." Con said

"Yeah." I said smiling

"What time should you finish?" Con asked

"About 5." I said

"Fancy going out for dinner?" Con said

"Yeah that sounds good." I said smiling

"Rhianne I hate to interrupt but were getting ready to start." Steph said knocking on my dressing room door.

"Okay." Moving away from Connor slightly to get my microphones on.

Connor went to sit and watch the show and I got on with the show with George. Me and George are now really close having spent more time with him than with my own family in the last 6 months. He's great to be around and we get on really well.

The show was a right laugh there were some really bad addition but also some really good one. I think me and George spent more time laughing than anything else.

When everyone had gone I manged to get out of the theatre really quickly which meant that me and Connor could go get something to eat and celebrate our wedding anniversary.

"Ready babe?" Con sad we were at the hotel getting changed. I was in the bathroom

"Yeah." I said walking out of the bathroom
