The High Life. The final stretch

Chapter 40

We arrived into Florida international airport and it was lunch all the kids were really hungry.

"Come on guys lets go over to the park and get something to eat." I said

"Yay." They said smiling

We headed for the Disney Park we checked into our room got changed and sorted then went into the park to have something to eat.

When we'd eaten we enjoyed the afternoon in the park going on rides me and Con took it in turns to stand with those that couldn't go on the rides the others wanted to go on. Normally this meant standing with Evie, Blake and sometime Grace. We had a great first afternoon but by 6 everyone was shattered and ready for tea and bed.

We'd booked 2 rooms for the 8 of us. Lilly, Jessie and Casper in 1 room and me, Con, Evie, Blake and Grace in the second.

The following morning, we were all up and ready to go by half 9. So we had breakfast then headed straight into the park. All the kids had a fantastic morning going on as many rides as possible. It was lovely to see them having a good time. After working so hard this past couple of months, it's been crazy.

By lunch time jet lag had kicked in for Evie, Blake and Grace but the rest of us were so used to it now that it didn't affect the rest of us. Connor took them up to the room so that they could have a sleep.

"Don't let them have to long babe." I said kissing Connor

"Okay. Will text you when we're heading back into the park." Con said

"Okay." I said walking off with Lilly, Jessie and Casper

"Where shall we go guys?" I said smiling we could do anything without having to worry.

"Everywhere." They said

"Come on then." I said together we spent the next 2 hours going on rides and having a laugh. It was a lot of fun being with Lilly, Casper and Jessie and not have to worry about the younger ones.

"Come on mum. Just one more time." Casper said

"Yeah come on mum." Lilly said we had just come off the Buzz light year ride for the 2nd time

"Okay one more time but then let's go on something that the other can't go on." I said

"Yay." The kids said

We got in the line for the ride.

"I need a drink mum." Jessie said

"Yeah so do I." Lilly said

"Okay. You guys stay here and I'll go get drinks." I said

I left the kids in the line and went to get drinks for us all.

There was a drinks stand about 30ft from the line.

"Hey um. 3 slush puppies in re-useable cups please."

"Which colour cups would you like?" the woman behind the counter asked

"what colour's do you have?" I asked

"Blue, Green, Pink, Red, Yellow, Purple and Orange." The woman said

"Cool can I have a blue, green and red please. With a mix of each flavour in each cup please." I said I made a mental note to get Grace and Blake cups when they got back.

"Okay." The woman said

5 minutes later after getting slushies for Lilly, Jessie and Casper and a cup of tea for myself I went back to the kids who were still in the line.

"Here you go." I said handing the cups to them.

"Thanks mum." They said smiling

It didn't take that long to get on the ride and we had a lot of fun shooting aliens again.

By the time we got off the ride Connor called me to say the others had woken up and where were we.

That evening we decided to eat in the park so that we could watch the fireworks.

Over the next couple of days, we had a great time. The last 2 days we took the kids to harry potter world.

Lilly hadn't spent a single penny in the main park so that she could get something in the harry potter park.

"What you going to get?" I asked her as we stood in the shop.

"I want to get a new hoodie. But I want to get one for Ben for Christmas but I don't know which one to get him." Lilly said

"Get him the same one as yours." I said

"Thought that if we got different ones. Then I could pinch it." Lilly said she went slightly red.

I smiled

"Fair enough." I said

We had a lot of fun doing a bit of shopping.

"Come on let's go on some rides." I said when we had finished

"I'm going to take this lot up to the room Rhi, I'll take Evie and Blake with me so you can go on some rides." Con said

"Okay babe." I said

Me and the others enjoyed going on rides until Connor, Blake and Evie got back

"Okay babe?" Con said

"Yeah." I smiled

"Just tired now." Con said

"Yeah." I said

"Kids seem to be having fun." Con said

"Yeah they are." I said

"What do you want to do for Christmas this year?" Con asked

"I don't know what do you want to do?" I asked

"Sleep." Connor said

"Yeah same." I said

"How about group holiday at the band house." Con said

"Yeah. I'm sure the others will love that." I said smiling

"Good excuse to see Niall and the others as well." Con said

"Yeah it is." I smiled

"You coming on mum?" Lilly said they were standing at the back of a que for a ride.

"Yeah." I said standing up.
