At half 7 Ben turned up.
"Hey Lilly." He said giving her a hug which caused Alice to tut and Rob to elbow her in the side.
"Aw is this Lola and Millie." Ben said getting down to their level both of them come running to the door when Ben had knocked.
"Yeah. The black one is mine." Lilly said
"Yeah I got the snapchat." Ben said grinning
Lilly smiled.
"You have everything then. I told mum we would look after the twins tonight so that mum and dad could go out." Ben said
"Where they going?" Lilly asked
"For a late dinner I think." Ben said standing up again.
"Come on then lets go." Lilly said scratching behind Lola's ear and standing up
"See you tomorrow mum." Lilly said coming over to give me a hug.
"I still don't think...." Alice started
"Shut up mum." Connor cut across her
"See you tomorrow." I said giving Lilly a hug then I whispered "Have a good time."
"See you tomorrow." Lilly said picking her bag up and heading out the door. With Ben. Poor Lola looked so confused as to where Lilly had gone.
Lilly's POV.
We got back to Ben's flat, I put my stuff in his room then went to sit with him in the living room and rested my head on Ben's shoulder.
"How's it been?" Ben asked
"Horrible." I said
"Really." Ben said looking at me
"Yeah. She looks down on me like I'm a child. Am able to drink which mum always says that this makes me an adult. She's just got a way of winding you up with a few words. For example she was so adamant that I shouldn't be allowed to come stay here." I said
"Don't worry Lilly, you're here now and they is nothing she can do about." Ben said
Not long after we got back Jodie and James arrived with Luna and Oscar. Ben had a spare room that Luna and Oscar often slept in when they stayed with Ben.
"Hey Lilly." James said giving me a hug
"Hey James." I said smiling
"Hello twins." I said smiling as Luna and Oscar came running in and giving me a hug.
"How's it been." James said
"Awful." I said looking at him
"Oh dear, Connor messaged me saying that you were rather upset about her staying." James said looking at me
"She's horrible James." I said
"I know sweet. Don't worry it will all be over in a few days." James said
"Yeah then maybe she won't want to come back." I said
Jodie and James laughed
"Anyway have a good night." Jodie said
"You picking them up later?" Ben asked
"Yeah. About 12." James said
"Okay see you a bit later." Ben said
Between us me and Ben got Luna and Oscar bathed and into bed by half 8.
Together we slouch down on the sofa and sat and talked for a while before putting the TV on and watching it until James and Jodie arrived back at 12.
