My body registered warm, comfort and pillows. I sighed happily and snuggled down in the bed, pushing my hand across the bed I tried to find my man only to feel his side of the bed cold..

Opening my eyes I could see dawn just breaking. Wait... Dawn?

I sat up leaning forwards to see out the window more, I was suppose to be in the museum... So why was I at home?

Pushing the bedding off me I got out of the bed and rubbed my wrists before making my way into the house to find out why exactly I was here. Hearing voices emitting from the lounge I made my way down there quietly to hear the hushed octaves.

"How? How can this keep happening?" Zak asked. I stopped pushing my back against the door hearing the concern in his voice.

"Bro, you know her attachment has made her more sensitive to the environments.." Billy answered. I frowned to myself wondering what the hell happened, pushing the hair behind my ears, the only thing I could think of was turning of the walkie talkies.. Surely he wasn't that pissed?

I heard Zak growl out a sigh "This is out of my control. What do I do?"

"You tell her the truth." Aaron said making me nod. I agreed and I wasn't even in the dang room.

"I can't.. I- Wha- I can't." Zak struggled.

"You have to. She has to know.." Billy agreed with Aaron.

"And what is that going to solve? She is gonna hate all this. I'm trying to give her a way of life here!"

"And what if your way isn't working for her, with her?" Aaron questioned making me frown.

What the hell happened?

"I don't want to lose her.. There I said it." He grumbled making my heart ache.

"If you don't want to lose her... Then you need to tell her the truth." Aaron replied.

"I can't bro. I- Haven't we been through enough?" Zak questioned.

"Do you want a repeat of what happened after you lied to her about the Goldfield hotel? She deserves to know." Aaron said as Billy agreed.

I stepped into the opening of the door "Deserves to know what?" I asked.

Zak's eyes shot to my voice and face faltered before looking at the other two.

"What's happened?" I asked growing concerned.

He stood up and crossed the room kissing my forehead and rubbing my arms soothingly. "How long have you been awake?" He asked quietly.

"Just.. I- What has happened?" I asked looking at him. His eyes told a different story than his lips making me look to Aaron.

Aaron looked torn and swallowed hard before standing up "I- I need to go. But I stand by what I said."

"Wait.. What's going on?" I asked as Billy made his excuses to go as well.

"You and Zak need to talk." Billy answered before patting Aarons shoulder signalling for him to leave.

I watched them both leave the house before I turned to look at Zak who was frowning at the ground hard. "Zak?" I questioned.

"It's nothing baby." He replied making me instantly frown.

"Baby? You- You've never called me that. What has happened Zak? No bullshit." I answered getting more agitated.

"It's nothing. Just leave it." He grunted, I stepped in his path stopping him. "Kaylee. I'm tired."

"I need to know."

"No. No you don't need anything. You want to know what has happened and I'm telling you it's nothing. Okay? So just drop it. Let's go to bed and gets some sleep in before the sun gets to damn hot!" He snapped.

As he pushed past I grabbed his arm making him wince and hiss loudly. My hand dropped his arm instantly, looking to him confused he frowned at himself and went to walk away again.

"If you love me..." I said stopped as he stopped and tensed up. I had clearly struck a nerve in him from that line.

"Don't. Don't you dare." He growled.

"Tell me."

"You don't need to know no-"

"TELL ME!" I shouted at him making Zak look at me. His eye twitched before he stormed towards me grabbing my wrists he lifted them between us.

"See?! Can you see the marks?! I had to belt them together and your feet! You were out of control okay! Now drop it!" His hands shoved my wrists down making me pull them to my chest.

I watched him storm into the bedroom and flinched from the slam the bedroom door, taking a breath slowly I turned looking for a camera to shed some light but found nothing. He couldn't just leave me with that. I needed to know everything.

Taking a leaf from his book I stormed the bedroom to find him sat on the bed holding his arm... The same arm I grabbed.

"This is already getting between us Zak. You want me to go for this job but how can I?" I asked honestly.

His head lowered and gave a small shake. "I promised to look after you.. What boyfriend, partner, what ever the fuck I am has to belt your ankles and wrists together? I had to get Aaron and Billy to help carry you out. Like some Christmas fucking turkey."

"Possession.." I whispered to myself.

"Yes. A fucking possession Kaylee!" He shouted flying up off the bed glaring at me.

"Why?! Why?! After everything I've told you! Why are you still so open?! Wasn't that attachment enough? Do you let everything in?!"

I couldn't answer his questions simply because I didn't know the answers, so instead, I took the shouting until my eyes fell on his shirt.

"Zak..." I breathed looking at his arm.

"It's nothing." He sighed, ignoring him I crossed the room looking at him and his arm. My hand came out to take his but I paused.

"It wasn't you.." He mumbled.

Biting my bottom lip between my teeth through anxiety, I reached for his wrist and lifted his arm slowly watching his face for any pain. The poker face came across his, blocking any emotions for me, so I focused on his eyes. Taking the bottom of his sleeve his hand stopped mine.

"Leave it. Let's go to sleep." He pleaded.

Ignoring his request I pulled it up slowly until I saw traces of red.. "You're bleeding." I spoke quietly.

"It will stop."

As I pulled it up I came into view of puncture wounds in his arm, I frowned and looked at him. "Wh- What the hell did this? Did you get attacked? Did something happen at the museum? Why didn't you tell me?!" I asked horrified.

His face broke the emotion wall as he looked upset, taking my hands away he held them tightly "I couldn't tell you... Because it was you."
