Zak had placed some soft music on to play through the house and kept my wine topped up. I had to keep an eye on my drinking, this wine was far too nice and the company was just as good as he kept me laughing. The Chinese arrived in the little white boxes making me smile at the cuteness of them. Then I met a new challenge.. Chopsticks.

"Just... I- Dang it." I huffed as Zak sat beside me watching me with an amused look on his face.

"Can I help?" I asked lifting my brow looking at him.

"How.. How do you not know how to use chopsticks?" He laughed.

I smiled "I do."

"Clearly not."

"I can.. I can make them disappear. In you."

He paused thinking that over before we both started laughing. "Hiiiiya!" I stabbed a chicken ball and grinned as I lifted it up on the chop stick and bit into it making Zak shake his head with a smile.

"You really are something." He answered eating his rice with ease.

"You know.. You could have been a gentleman and got me a fork or maybe a spoon but you watched me struggle for your amusement." I replied making him nod.

"It was too much fun to stop you."

I bit into the chicken ball savagely whilst looking at him with his stupidly handsome smile.

"So is this what you mean when you say you're cooking dinner? Order take out?" I asked.

He shook his head and finished his mouthful "No, I really do cook but time zipped by after I got off the phone to you. I guess it was because I was looking forward to doing this so much." He answered making me pause and look at him.

"That was a rather sweet thing to say."

"So.. How much have you missed my charming company and dashing good looks?" He asked looking at me for my answer.

"You haven't crossed my mind." I lied rolling my eyes.

"I bet I have.. Plenty of times." He teased.

"Would it make you feel better if I said yes?" I asked.

"Only if it's true.."

"Then no." I replied making him clutch his chest and gasp.

"Not after all the Good morning and my superb jokes? I used the best ones too!" He replied making me giggle.

"Okay some of those were funny." I caved making him fist pump. I bit my lip looking at him as he smiled and went back to eating. Something niggled me about him and I was curious to know more.. I just didn't know how to ask him. In fact I had a few questions...

"What's your perfect date?" I asked tilting my head.

"Honestly?" He asked before taking a sip of his drink, I nodded.

"I'm not up for this whole restaurant, grand gestures kind of thing. I just like privacy and good conversation." He replied.

"Which is why you suggested dinner here." I confirmed.

"What about you?" He asked looking at me.

I pondered thinking about my answer "Good conversation that is a must because I've had dates and I swear it would have been less painful having my wisdom teeth being pulled."

"Some guys are shy you know?"

"So are women." I countered.

"The women I've met.. Are anything but shy." Zak answered.
