Morning soon arrived and I was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for Zak and Bacon. Both had stayed up late last night but I had gone to bed earlier, despite all the sleep I had on the way.

I figured the smell of food would wake them first.

I wasn't wrong as Zak was the first to step in the kitchen and pause. "Now that is a sight." He smiled looking at me.

"And what might that be?" I asked making my way over to him and getting a morning kiss. I rubbed the back of his neck waiting for his answer.

"Seeing you in my t-shirt and boxers making me breakfast." He sighed closing his eyes and tilting his head back against my hand.

"God I could do with a massage." He hinted as I made my way back to the cooker.

"Hmm. I know right?" I replied hiding my smile. I knew what I would be doing later.

As I cooked off the last of the bacon I turned to find a real life Bacon stumbling sleepily into the kitchen. "What a way to a mans heart.. Food." He spoke slumping down on the seat and rubbing his eyes.

"Morning to you too." I smiled placing an empty plate in front of them.

For a lodge I only presumed that we would have to cook our own food, but after a little look around this morning I found that we had orange trees in the garden and the fridge was fully stocked.

I shared my view on the lodge and the food only to have Bacon answer that whilst I was asleep last night Zak and him left me in the lodge to go and do a food shop. I looked at Zak surprised he had even done it but then insisted I was perfectly safe because they locked me in.

Placing down maple syrup and a plate of pancakes I waited before grabbing bacon, eggs, and a small selection of fruit with fresh orange juice. I didn't bother asking for grace as they both began tucking in. I then remembered my last thing and jumped up quickly frying off the toast.

"What's that? Fried bread?" Zak asked. I knew he would only moan if I cooked that about the contents and level of fat.

"No. Vanilla French toast.. I know you'll love it." I replied and dropped it onto a plate before dusting it off with a little powdered sugar, shaking my hands and turning off the cooker.

Placing it down he looked at Bacon and turned his fork in his hand now brandishing it as a weapon "Don't even look at my French toast dude.." He warned making me look between them.

"I was-"

"Don't do it Bacon." Zak warned again as Bacon began laughing at him.

"Dude have the toast. I'm not gonna take it from you."

As Zak went to pounce on all three slices I moved the plate and lifted my brow at him.  "Hey.."

"Didn't your mother teach you to share?" I asked.

He began pouting and batting his lashes. "That's not gonna work on me. I'll make more."

We all got a slice and Zak seemed to glaring at Bacon until he ate the slice. "This is amazing food Kay. Thank you." Bacon smiled with a clear plate and a full tummy.
