A year later....
I pushed my shoulders back and checked my appearance again. I wanted everything to be perfect and had stressed no end about this.
"Ready love?"
I smiled and nodded giving a nervous look.
"You shouldn't be nervous..." He smiled placing a kiss on my hand before holding his arm out.
I looped mine within his and picked up my flowers. "Let's go then dad."
"You look beautiful darling."
We exited the house and made our way towards the small gathering of guests. My heart thumped stronger seeing Zak stood under the white canopy. His back was to me facing forwards as Ash was stood taking as many pictures as her finger would let her. Aaron had turned a while back and watched me with his goofy grin that set me at ease.
White chairs lined the rose petal aisle as friends and families smiled at me, I returned them and spotted the crew, Zak's mom and Gracie who had a flower collar to match my bouquet. Squeezing my dads arm a little tighter through nerves, he settled his hand upon mine giving me a reassuring smile.
The bishop who was a close friend of the crew smiled at me and looked towards Zak who had lowered his head slightly. The lights were perfect as the sun had began to set setting the sky in a flood of pinks and purples. The small lanterns were serving their purpose as I passed them..
I was less than 3 feet away when Zak turned to look at me for the first time, a smile filled his face as the familiar twinkle in his eyes appeared.
"Hey." I whispered stepping beside me taking his hand.
"Hey." He replied back quietly. "You look gorgeous."
