One week down and a parcel from hell.

A whole week had passed in the Bagan's household and I could safely say I was holding the fort with the master gone! Although admittedly it was lonely, boring and the nights seemed to be cold despite the Vegas sun being out all day long giving off a superb heat.

Each morning I was woke by Zak facetiming just to see me still groggy and in bed. I still found it disgustingly attractive how hot he looked even when he had just woke. I looked like I had been partying on the strip all night where as he looked like he had walked off the catwalk with his huskier voice.  Jealously was an understatement and the need to cuddle was strong.

Each day a new parcel arrived, but one had been bugging me. As soon as I accepted it from the mail guy I shuddered and had to place it in a cupboard. I didn't like what the item was giving off and hoped maybe Cece could drop it to the Museum. If she declined or didn't have the Key then I would have to sweet talk Bacon in taking it over there. I simply didn't want it in the house. Whatever the dang thing was.

Tonight was Zak's last lockdown, then it was decompressing and the ride home from Texas in the RV. Knowing that would take it's time alone..

Zak had done one lockdown and seemed a little out of sorts but pumped for the next one, I presumed it was because he was eager to get home and to get the lockdown over with. So far things were good, nobody had been hurt and everyone seemed in a relatively good mood. I just hope it lasted for them, being all together there wouldn't be anything worse than being stuck in an RV after a bust up of sorts.

I was just waking up when I got the phone call, smiling I grabbed my phone and lifted it up answering the call for him to see me and Gracie spooning .

'Hey, there's my girls.'  He smiled.

"Good morning handsome. Say morning Daddy."

'Sleep well?'  He asked, every morning he asked and every morning I answered the same.

"Lonely but one more night closer until you are home."

That always earned a grin.

"How you feeling?" I asked rubbing my eyes and stifling a yawn .

'Tired, but eager to get this one over with. I just have a gut feeling this one isn't going to go as planned.'

"Why do you think that?" I asked ruffling Gracie's coat.

'Just have a feeling that's all.'

"Enough to act on it?" I questioned..

'No, besides I don't want to delay coming home. Everything alright there?'

"It is.. I uh- I moved that parcel..." I admitted making his face fall and a scowl fill it.

"It's in a cupboard.. I- You'll find out what I mean when you get home, I would just rather it be out the way. Out of sight out of mind."

'Okay.. I get that. But don't show fear or worry, I need you to be strong got it?'

I nodded my head and smiled "Can't wait to see you.."

He hummed closing his eyes at the idea. "You miss me?" I asked innocently.

'Absolutely. I'm going crazy here. Can't get things done quick enough, feel like a gnat at a BBQ from all my flying around. Just wanna get home and have time with you snuggling..'

"You want boobie time." I answered.

'Pretty much.' He laughed causing me to giggle.

'House is okay though?'

I nodded "No problems here in Zakula's Castle."

'Good.'

We talked for a little  longer before he was scheduled to get up and start filming, giving me an air kiss we parted leaving me to sigh in bed as the call disconnected.

"Few more days Gracie... Few more days." I spoke ruffling her fur before I kick started the day myself.

I spent the day walking Gracie, cleaning the house and watching TV when the door knocked. "How much has your daddy ordered today?" I asked getting off the couch.  Opening the door I had a face full of flowers by a short stumpy woman.

"For Kaylee." She squeaked.

"That's me."

"Lucky girl." She giggled before almost skipping down the drive and getting into the florist van. I looked at the large bunch of roses and smiled.

He's so goddamn cute!

Seeing the card I pulled it out and opened it. - Home soon... Love you Sheila. xx

"God damn that man." I spoke to Gracie as she looked up beside me thinking it was food. I lowered the flowers down for her to snuffle in before she stepped back giving a sneeze.

"Hayfever now huh?" I giggled as she sneezed again.  "Just like your father."

I placed the Red roses into a vase and placed them in the lounge on the coffee table. Yes they were right in the way but I wanted to look at them. I sat forward multiple times touching the softness of the petals before sitting back with a massive smile.  Having an idea I picked up the Vase and headed for the bedroom.  I got undressed and put on a new set of underwear that he had brought. With a selfie stick I took a photo with the flowers  and sent it to him thanking him for them, it wasn't revealing but he would know what I had on instantly.

I watched the message deliver and get opened before the three dots began to bounce.

-You drive me crazy.. You wait until I get home. Z xx

I giggled and got dressed back into his top and a pair of leggings. His tops had been my source of clothes for the past few days, that and his hoodies. I loved nothing more than to have his hoody around me as I watched TV. Sad maybe but I missed the tall oaf.

Walking through the house to place the flowers back on the coffee table I noticed the cupboard door was open. I froze and waited for something to happen but after realising nothing would I continued on and pushed it closed as I passed.

--------

2 hours later I heard the familiar squeak, Gracie lifted her head hearing it as well. "Please leave us alone." I whispered getting up and heading down the hall to shut the cupboard again.

My finger had been hovering over Cece's number for a while but I didn't want to subject her to anything, so far she had been lucky and not experienced any activity that scared her. I certainly didn't want to put her in harms way.

Closing the cupboard I shrieked hearing the bedroom door slam shut. "Fuck no. Nu-Uh. Hell No." I spoke rushing back to the lounge and pulling on Zak's hoody.

Neh Neh, can't get me with his hoody on.

Yeah they can. It's not magic.

Shut up! It was helping.

I pulled it around me tighter and looked around to see if I could see anything paranormal. Of course there was nothing leading me to believe that I was going mad. Despite clearly hearing that door slam hard.

"Few more days... That's all I have to do. A few more da-" I was up out the chair, grabbing keys, Gracie's leash and that Darn parcel.

I'll take it to that Damn museum myself!
