"Come on bro, give the girl a chance. Maybe she isn't like the rest of those women out there." Chres told me. I shook my head, not wanting to believe that he could be right. She may just be right in the mind and heart, but she could be useless and a player. I just can't trust it. He sighed heavily while sitting back in the chair.

"How are you suppose to know if you don't try?" He questioned. I thought about what he just asked me, hesitated to reply. I knew he was only doing this for my own good and god knows that I don't want to be lonely for the rest of my life. I was interrupted by Ray walking in with Jacob behind him.

"Come on man, I need you this time. I let you get by last night when you told me no." He stated to him.

"And I'm telling you no again. NO!" He yelled in his face before walking over to sit down. Ray sighed then looked at me. I knew he was going to ask me and my dumb ass never tells him no.

"Nigga don't even think about asking him." Chres started while glaring at him. Jacob let out a smooth laugh, shaking his head. Ray threw his hands out, stomping his foot as if he was a two year old who couldn't get what he wanted.

"Craig has a date tonight!" He stated.

"No I don't!" I stated proudly. Ray smiled at me before speaking.

"Is it the girl that I introduced you to from the mall?" He questioned while grinning. I sighed soon speaking up.

"Technically, you didn't introduce her to me, you basically threw her at me then left me hanging. Do you know how awkward it was?" I questioned him. He smiled big then bowed.

"I know! I'm good at that kind of stuff, you know." He said with confidence. I saw Jacob chuckled while shaking his head. I then looked back at Chres who was waiting for me to give him an final answer. I sighed, standing up to my feet.

"Fine, I'll go!" I stated bluntly.

"Good, now go call her and get ready man." I blew air in irritation, walking upstairs.

Jacob

"So can we go out to the Red Barren?" Ray questioned us. I threw my head back in aggravation. He's been asking ever since we left the mall. I don't want to go clubbing tonight. I don't feel like seeing women fall over you, giving themselves away. It's annoying as hell. But in order to keep this happy nigga off my back...

"Fine! Damn!" I stated, pulling myself off of the sofa. He grinned then headed towards the door. Chres shook his head then followed behind him as well as me. We got into his car then pulled off down the street.

"Women!" They're going to be falling all over me, just watch." He said aloud. I rolled my eyes then looked out of the window.

Meanwhile

I stepped out of the car, watching people go inside and some leaving. I wish I was them. I walked inside with the guys, hearing the music bang my ear drums. I made my way over to the table that was vacant while Ray went into the crowd. Chres went over to the bar, I'm guessing. I sat and watched everyone have a good time. Maybe I should loosen up a little and have fun. I'm still young and I know I'm going to miss this when I'm old and ugly.

I still remained in my spot as I gave myself that speech of wisdom until someone walked over. I looked up to see one of the dancers smiling at me. I'll admit it; she was gorgeous but...

"Hi mister. Why so lonely?" She interrogated. I looked away, not really knowing how to answer her question. I shrugged, giving her quick smile. She giggle then sat down in from of me. I was kind of surprised... That she didn't sit in my lap or anything. She also didn't throw herself onto me. I smiled just thinking about it.
