I heard a knock on the door. I got up from the sofa, walking out of the living room. Quickly opening the door, Michelle stood in front of me. She gave me a weak smile and I spoke up.

"Maria isn't here." I told her.

"Actually...I came to see you." She saids to me. I was surprise. Michelle and I never talk to each other, unless she's harassing me.

"Can I come in?" She asked innocently. I stared at her with a confuse look as I stepped aside. She stepped in, clearing her throat.

"Are you sure that your Michelle?" I asked, looking at her closely. She chuckled, shaking her head.

"Ray, I just came to apologize." She began while sitting down on the sofa. I sat across from her, muting the tv.

"Okay. I accept your apology...but answer this one question." I stated.

"What?" She inquired.

"Why do you say all of those things about me. You think that I don't have feelings?" I interrogated. She sighed then replied.

"I didn't mean to hurt you Ray. I only said those things because..." She stopped.

"Because what?" I asked.

"Because I was jealous of you and Maria." She said standing to her feet. I watched her walk over to me.

"After you turned me down..I left with a broken heart. You hurt me and I may have said some things that were cruel, but I only did it, because It kept me from...from attacking you." She explained.

"Michelle I'm...I'm sorr-" I began until she kissed me. I pushed her away.

"The hell are you doing?" I snapped.

"Please Ray. Let's try this again. Can't you see that I love you? I can't sleep at night, because you're constantly who I'm thinking about." She stated.

"You're supposed to be Maria's friend." I said.

"Yeah. But I would choose you over anyone Ray." She replied. I shook my head, not wanting to believe this. She kissed me again, making us both collapse on the couch. I pushed her off of me, wiping my lips.

"I think it's time for you to go." I said, quickly standing up.

"Please Ray." She begged as I lead her out of the living room. I pushed her out of the door, closing it. Can you believe this? The door opened, making me jump. Maria chuckled, walking in.

"Hey babe." She greeted with a smile.

"H-hey." I stuttered. She frowned.

"What's wrong? I just saw Michelle. Did she say anything to you?" She questioned. I shook my head while backing away.

"Ray what's the matter?" She asked with concern.

"I'm-I'm just tired. That's all." I said before heading upstairs to my room. I closed the door behind me, sighing aloud. I plopped down in the bed. I don't want to tell Maria what happened. It'll crush her. Michelle thought I was going to give in and go behind Maria's back. I've learned my lesson the first time and I'm not doing it again...I don't care how sexy a female looks. I want Maria and only Maria.

Charlie

I sighed looking at all of the customers here. We were busy. Chres caught my attention, handing the plates over to me. I swiftly made my way around, giving people what they ordered.
