The 5

I'm distracted by the brightest light I've seen since the beginning of lock down in the corner of my eye. I instantly turn around and make eye contact with it. Holy crap. It's a broken board of the window! I can see daylight! I run to find Megan, Mia, Ella and Jess to inform them of my discovery. They're across the library, Ella singing Zero to Hero, Jess swaying to Ella's singing, Megan doodling on the table and Mia reading Charlotte's Web. Running towards them, they look at me in confusion.
"Guys!" I pause to take a breath.
"Charlotte! It's weird how there's a book where the character is one of your biggest fears BUT it's named after you lol?" Mia says as she chuckles to herself through each page.
"What's wrong?" Megan exclaims, desperate to know what has taken my breath away. Ella, Mia and Jess were intrigued too.
"I found light!" I reply, leaving them more confused. "Just follow me!" I gesture them towards the toilets where I hide Keoni's phone and to the window at the back of 'our' cubicle.

Their jaws drop.

"What? How?" Ella asks excited at the sight.
"Who cares! Rip up the boards of corse! This can be our ticket out of here!" Mia replies, trying not to attract attention. We are all squished to get her as Mia locks the door behind us. Rip. Tare. Dig. We use our bare hands to find our escape, never have we been so determined to get away, until we see what's on the other side. Boys? What? They bashing on the windows, screaming for help. We open the window, confused and scared. They crawl in squishing us all together even more. 5 of them were bunched in together.
"Fucking close the window!" He screams on the floor, distressed and freaked out.
"Ok calm down!" Megan replies as she calmly closes the window.
"Calm down? Calm down! How the fuck do you expect me to calm down?" He yells, standing up to Megan.
   "Oi! You get away from her now ya rat. Who do you think you're talkin to?" Mia says as she shoves him into the other boys.
Knock knock knock.
   "Girls? What's going on in there?" It's Miss Lovern, thank God! She's the only nice teacher in the school.
   "Errr, it's just a tough one in here Miss!" I rely, trying not to laugh or get us in trouble.
   "Oh errr ok, just be abit quieter in there please." I can hear her loud shoes as she walks away. I turn back to a boy, looking me in the eyes. He opens his mouth to speak but I stop him before he said a word.
   "Before you throw another tantrum, why don't you have your little hissy fit in the changing rooms?" I say as I slowly unlock the door.
   "I only just met ya!" He says, winking at me and laughing with his dick head mates.
   "Ugh, just shut up so we don't get in trouble." I reply, not ready to put up with his childish shit. "Just wait here and I'll check if it's clear." They all nod, including the boys; now intimidated of me. I step out side to find there were no teachers in sight, I gesture the out of the toilets and into the changing rooms which are next door. Closing the door behind us, we are all intrigued to found out what is going on.
