"Aunt Jessie, don't leave!" Paige pouts tugging on Jessica's jacket.

"I'll be back, there's an emergency at work and I have to go back home." Jessica kneels down and puts her hands on Paige's shoulders.

"We need you aunt Jess. Mom needs you." Quinn says putting his head down.

"Quinn... I'm sorry."

"What if you don't comeback? You never comeback." Paige says

"Yea, you always run away for months."

"Kids, I have to go or I can lose my job. My boss is a tough guy."

"We have a bigger emergency here! Have you seen mom? She's a mess. Aunt Jane can barely get out of bed, and grandma Dorthy, she's just done so much we hate asking."

"Don't be afraid to ask, asking isn't bad. I will take the next flight out when I can. I promise."

"Can we go with you?" Paige exclaims

"I don't think your mom wants to come to New York."

"We can go with you."

"Maybe another time. I'm going to go say goodbye to your mom and Kali before aunt Jane gets here. Okay?"

"Alright." They say

Jessica walks up to Ann's room and sees her rocking Kali.

"Hey, I'm getting ready to leave." Jessica whispers.

"Thank you, for everything." Ann says

"It's my pleasure.

You'll be okay, right?"

"We will get through it."

Jessica nodded then looked back at Ann.

"Bye Ann."

"Bye Jess."

Jane came and picked up Jessica. Sarah was in the car, she decided to go back home with Jessica.

"Are you city ladies ready to go back to the city?"

"I'm excited to see how my shop looks." Sarah says

Jessica didn't say much. She just gazed out the window as they passed by the houses.

"Are you going to come back?" Jane says

"I don't know. When I get back to work they won't let me leave. I know it."

"Haha, Mark is such an asshole!" Sarah says

"He seems like it. Gosh are you happy at NY MAG?" Jane says

"Yes, I'm very happy. I've worked my whole life for this job."

That night Jessica got home. She took a taxi from the airport straight to her office for the meeting.

When she got there she set her luggage in her office then went into her meeting.

When Jessica walked into the conference room Sam stood up and pulled out a seat for Jessica.

"Hey, sorry I'm late."

"It's fine. Let's just get started." Mark says

Sam smiles at Jessica.

Mark started talking to the photographers so Jessica tried to get her notes ready for when he started talking to the writers.

Sam slowly moved a cup of coffee towards Jessica with a sticky note on it.
