The next day-

During Jessica's lunch break she decided to stop by Sarah's store to drop of some lunch.

"It looks absolutely amazing here." Jessica says walking in. She held both bags of food in her hand and set them on the countertop.

"Well, it's coming along. How have you been?"

"Good, Ann and the kids are in town. They are staying with me."

"Oh really?" Sarah starts to unpack the food and take small nibbles.

Jessica nods and takes a sip of her water.

"That will be good for them to get away. Besides, those kids love you."

"So, we should make plans, you, me, and Ann."

"Yea, but what about the kids."

"Ann knows Chelsea, I bet Chelsea would love to watch them."

"True...Just pick a date."

"Friday?"

"Oh... Friday isn't good." Sarah bites her lip and turns around.

"What? Really!"

"Yea, it's bar night."

"We can bring Ann along!"

"Jessica... I don't think that's a good idea."

"Why?" Jessica sets down her food and gives Sarah a funny look.

"Sam is at bar night. Last I herd you aren't on speaking terms, he doesn't want you there."

"Shit, he told you?"

"Kinda... What did you do to make him so upset?"

"I don't really wanna talk about it."

"Jessica"

"It's nothing. He just over thinks everything."

"But he seems really sad. He told me to un-invite  you to bar night."

"We kissed, okay. He thought it meant something but it meant nothing!"

"Oh Jessica! Sam likes you!"

"He wanted to about it and I kept avoiding him."

"You bitch! Jessica, you can't break his heart. He likes you so much.."

"I know, I know. Don't you think I realized that. I called it a stupid kiss. Now he hates me. He's my best friend, I don't want a relationship."

"Then tell him that, don't push him away!"

"Well, he's ignoring me now."

"I don't know what to tell you. I'll talk to him at bar night. But don't come tomorrow, promise?"

"Okay, I guess I'll stay home."

"You will stay home."

**

Later that night when Jessica got home Ann was cooking while the kids cleaned around the house. Jessica walked in to the smell of Ann's breaded chicken. The small apartment was filled with chaos.

"Aunt Jess! Guess what?" Paige says tugging on Jessica's jacket.

Jessica sets her things down and kneels to Paige's level.
