A few days had passed. Jessica felt as if she was losing her mind. She had so many thoughts swimming through her head. She had an urge to just pick up and leave New York. She didn't know where she'd go or what she'd do. After Danny she needed to get away and not come back. In reality she knew it was crazy thinking. She had her family, her job, and deep down she loved New York. She was just antsy to go somewhere. Work was hectic. She was working non stop with Heather trying to mend the department. Jessica didn't talk about leaving any more because she knew that what she had said to Heather was something that just popped out, she didn't really mean it. It was all wishful thinking.
On top off all the crazy thoughts and feelings Jessica was going through, she was still sick. She started eating again, thinking maybe her body needed to become stronger. When she'd break down, she'd try to find ways to not over work herself. But the fatigue was still there, and the vomiting. Jessica just felt so weak.
One morning on a Saturday Jessica hadn't slept at all that night. She had this terrible feeling, a feeling that scared the death out of her. This feeling... or maybe this thought... had been on her mind ever since she got back to New York and Sarah had called her. Jessica has been trying to put it in the back of her mind but it always seems to pop back up again. The way she had been feeling wasn't starting to feel like a stomach bug. This 'sickness' was starting to become much too familiar.
Jessica laid in bed, curled up holding her stomach that was in knots. She closed her eyes and began to cry. The pains, tiredness, and nausea that Jessica had been feeling brought her back to a specific day that Jessica will never forget... this day was a week before her father had died.

May 2010-
It was early in the morning. Jessica was woken up by the sound of her fathers night nurse leaving the house. When she had closed the door it had echoed throughout the house, causing everything to rattle.
She slowly opened her eyes and stretched. But, right as she stretched she got a terrible pain in her stomach. She hoped out of bed and ran to the bathroom.
Her younger brother George was just about to go in but she shoved him out of the way.
"Move!" She yells, slamming the bathroom door.
George bangs on it. "Hey! I shower in the morning, get out!" He yells
Dorthy comes running into the hallway to see what was going on.
"George, quite! Your father is finally getting some rest. He had a long night." She says sternly
"But Mom, Jessica took the bathroom."
Then, they hear her getting sick. This wasn't the first time in the last few days.
George immediately gets grossed out. He plugs his ears and closes his eyes.
"Never mind, I don't want it!"
Dorthy rolls her eyes. "George, just use my shower. Leave Jessica alone, she sounds sick."
George runs away and Dorthy puts her ear to the door. Jessica was still sick.
"Darling, it's Mom. Can you open the door?"
Jessica refused to let Dorthy in. She was in tears. Afraid that maybe she wasn't sick.
"I'm okay... really, I just- I ate something." She bluffs, trying to hold it in.
"Honey, you've been sick for a few days now... just let me in so I can take your temperature."
"No, I'm fine!" She hisses
