Jessica and Danny bundled up into their winter clothes and took a walk around Central Park. Jessica locked her arms around Danny's. They walked past children ice skating on frozen ponds, families building snowmen, and older couples throwing bird seeds to the pigeons.
"I love mornings like this." Danny says softly
"Hmmm, I do too." Jessica hums
Danny leads them to a park bench and they sit down. Jessica rests her head on Danny and closes her eyes.
"Why are your eyes closed?" He was with a chuckle.
"I'm trying to picture you and I."
"Oh you are? Ha, doing what?"
"Growing old together, feeding birds in the park, with a dog." Jessica continues to picture her and Danny. She keeps her eyes closed with a smile on her face.
"I like the idea of growing old and feeding birds."
"Good." Jessica giggles

Jessica and Danny moved out of the park and into the city. The whole day was spent enjoying the scenery, shops, sights, and the snow falling on the ground. The weather didn't stop them. As they were walking they stopped at Barnes and Nobel to get a coffee. The two of them went their separate ways after sharing a muffin in Starbucks. With their coffees in their hands they scavenged through the huge store trying to find the perfect read.
While Jessica was standing in the novel section Danny walked up behind her with something behind his back.
"Find anything?" She says sensing Danny behind her.
"I found the most amazing book ever! It's a must."
Jessica chuckles then turns to Danny. He held her photography book in his hands with a grin across his face.
Jessica rolls her eyes then kisses him. "You're precious."
"I just can't believe that my girlfriend has a book! Words can't explain how proud I am."
"It still doesn't feel real to me." She turns back to the shelf and searches for a book.

Once the work week began Jessica sat in her apartment alone while Danny was working. It was lonely without him. Jessica tried to take advantage of her break before she had to start working again. She wanted to do something exciting but not one idea popped into her head. She spent the day cleaning, trying new cooking recipes which failed, and here and there she would pull out the camera.
Jessica pulled out her speaker and connected her phone. She blasted her playlist and vacuumed around the house. Her music was interrupted by a text. She shut off the vacuum and ran to see who was texting her.
*Hey Jess, it's David. I was wondering if possibly you can pop into my office today. We need to talk.*
Jessica wiped the sweat off her forehead and sighed. It had been weeks since she last had spoken to David. Jessica replied back with a yes then went to go freshen up.
By noon she was out of the house and in a taxi on her way to see him.
When she got to his office he was patiently waiting for her. He stood up and greeted her with a hug. He seemed delighted to see her.
"I'm so glad you came, please sit. We have lots to talk about!"
"How's the book doing?" Jessica says referring to sales.
"Great! That's the reason I wanted to talk to you... have you considered possibly putting together another one?" He asks
"Gosh, I don't know. I have lots going on. A book isn't my priority right now. Maybe in the summer."
